Alright, all this Cataclysm stuff actually has me thinking (scary thought I know), and I figure I'd want to start an RP leading up to the events that would occur for some of it, ie the start of the natural disaster's and the like that are going to swamp and crash across the world of Azeroth. Unfortentaly at this point, I can't really think of a good way to set this up, so any and all suggestions would be welcome here. There will also be Alliance vs Horde battles, but they aren't the main focus.
I do know if I do set it up, I would probably allow the use of the new race/class combinations, because I hate to say it, but after discussing the Dwarven Shaman on the "And the Highborne Shall Rise" actually got me thinking. So, there you have it, my outline, now we just need to figure out how to put it together.
Also with ToN going out with a blaze of Glory and Uncharted Waters going like it is, thought would be nice to have another choice for an RP. And I'm actually thinking of making this one a completely open RP, so that if you can only post a few times every couple days, you would be able, as there would be no solid story beyond the build up to the larger disasters across the world. Or if you want to group up with others to work it all out you could do so. Horde Alliance or a Neutral faction is allowed, for now I'll leave it open and depending on people, I'll close off the Sections as needed.
Sides, snazzy name like this, I'm sure people can figure out good stuff to go with it.

A fourth War would be good, but would still have the problem if people go to sleep, they might get left behind/thrown out of the loop. But I won't limit people to the amount of posts they want, that's why I said, it would be more if you want to travel alone you could, if you want to be grouped up with other's you could do that as well.

Hmm, we would need a trigger for the fourth war. Would the Burning Legion come once again, or will the Horde and Alliance finally fight to the end to see who would rein in supremacy?

Well that's why I want to add in the stuff about the natural disaster's, knowing Garrosh and a few others, they would see it as an assault by the other side, trying to weaken them before the first attacks. Course could add them both in; having the disaster's ripping through the world while the Alliance and Horde fight each other, ignoring what is going on around them.

I don't want it to turn into WTFpwn between Alliance and Horde though, I'd like it more as if the War is just secondary to the Disasters and how the face of Azeroth is changing.

((Sounds interesting, but I need to think about my characters... I'm already using Kitanga in Uncharted Seas, while Nakresh is a little too predictable ("Thrall says to go to the goblins? Alright! Thrall says to visit the Alliance! Certainly!"), and Base just straight up wouldn't care about what was happening, unless it affected his village, and I've kinda already done the whole "Bad thing happens to Shatterspear Village so he gets *!@#ed and vows revenge" thing.
I'd like to try out a Troll Druid, actually... Lemme work out a character...))

Go ahead, I was thinking of using a Dwarf Shaman..... and the fact that the Wildhammer clan is my favorite of all the Dwarves has nothing to do with it.

Character: Sem'po
Location: Sen'jin Village
Sem'po woke up with a start. The dream had seemed so real... He wondered the meaning.
Sem'po of the Darkspear Tribe. The Dreamer has deemed you worthy of our path.
He thought it over again. Such a strange creature... Like a stag, but with the upper body of an elf.
If you choose to follow our teachings, come to Mount Hyjal on the new moon. Come alone, and unarmed.
Surely the spirits knew what was best... But what if this was some trickery?
He sighed, propping himself up on his staff and looking outside. The moon was waning, and would be new in just a few days. Could he leave his tribe behind? As a witchdoctor of the Darkspears, he was needed to tend to the village. But the spirits knew best. He would obey his dream. He hadn't much time though, as the journey would surely take several days, even mounted. He collected a sufficient store of dried fruits and meat in his leather pouch and stepped outside, waking his emerald raptor from it's sleep.
"Shh... Come Zallashi, my friend. We have a long journey ahead." He whispered, feeding the reptile a cut of salted meat. The raptor purred happily as Sem'po mounted it and began to ride north.

((ooc - alright, I'll update the first post as people add..... and now to get my character in there.))
Character:
Azor Wildfury
Location:
Aerie Peak, Hinterlands
"Arise apprentice, it's almost time for your journey to began." The voice of his master cut through the meditation of the young Wildhammer dwarf, who slowly stood, keeping his eyes down. His master, Kuran Deephammer, was the current chief shaman of the Wildhammer's, and a dour old man who was well loved by all in the tribe.
"Come along youngling, we have much to do." Kuran said, turning to walk away as Azor Wildfury, his only current apprentice hurried to catch up. Azor was different from the other Wild clan dwarves, his hair and beard cut short and a soft white colour like the fur of a wolf. His eyes were a piercing ice blue, and tattoo'ed along his brow and eyes were runes of power. He was stocky and powerfully built, able to easily lift the Stromhammer he always carried with him, knowing that it would take 3 human's to lift the hammer. He wore simple leather's, without any metal fastenings, as his master had always told him "Wearing metal while using the power of Lightening is a fool's move."
The two dwarves headed up to the Aerie, intending to saddle up their gyphons and fly to the testing spot for his ascention into mastery. Azor was excited and his happyness was picked up on by his mount, a beautful tawny gryphon female, young, just fleged a few seasons ago, and had been his partner for the last 3 years. "Hello Aerowing." He said with a smile and the creature growled happily as he placed the saddle on her and swung up.
"Come, let's go apprentice." His master called, on the back of his own gryphon, a massive black that had been rumoured to kill a Black Dragon on it's own without the help of the ancient shaman. The two dwarves shot into the air and winged towards the mountains overlooking the coast.

((If you want to be a Tauren Paladin, you got a lot o' 'splainin' to do... You can't just start out and say "he heard about the light and decided to use it" or whatever. It would have to be a massive revelation of sorts.))

((ooc - yup, as long you explain the backstory and why it is what it is, there shouldn't be any problem.))

((By the way Joang, no offense, but using a bit of capitalization and punctuation would go a long way in making it eaiser to read your posts. I always write to the best of my ability, I've found that more people take me seriously that way. ;) ))
