Hi I'm a discipline priest and i'm wondering if anyone knows how to fix my macro so that when im targeting the tank, i cast holy fire on his target BUT if i'm targeting a hostile it just regularly casts holy fire?
my current macro is
#showtooltip Holy Fire
/cast Holy Fire

#showtooltip Holy Fire
/cast Holy Fire
means execute on hostile target, the second bracket is ignored in that case.
You could also phrase it this way:
#showtooltip Holy Fire
/cast
(cast on hostile target of target, otherwise standard behavior, empty bracket)
but that would have issues if your hostile target has another hostile target (healer NPCs or more importantly, healer players)

@Nular,
On a similar vein, can I use target of target to focus a mob and cast Blessing of Protection or Righteous Defense on the ally? Something like:
#showtooltip Righteous Defense
/cast Righteous Defense
My intention is to cast Righteous Defense on my mouseover ally target, or, if I don't mouseover a target and focus a hostile mob, cast RD on the mob's target?
