Not sure. Though that is pretty cheap. One person gets the Achievement of 39 people's worth of hard work.

I say that one person wins WoW. Same as in real life, the most innovative and adaptable individuals survive. Brains over brawn.

I agree, if 40ish people don't notice a greyed out bar for the boss then 40ish people are either blind or stupid and grats to that one other guy.

this.
still a crappy thing to do, but if people just dont notice and kill him anyway they have no one to blame but themselves.
This.
Someone should have noticed and told everyone to just pull out of there. 40 people fighting and killing it and nobody noticing just means they need to pay more attention. It's wasn't exactly nice what that person did, but the raid group is to blame as well.

it is a clever use and you gain alot in short run, but in long run you lose alot more so it is stupid thing to do. Imagine that bad rep that said persons gets, i would not like to group and instance with him. Because i know then i could not trust him, and he may aswell declare himself as an exploiter of every situations.
So yes he is clever, but on the same time incredible stupid. If he planned progressing with that toon, he has very low chances now with the fact 39 people just destroyed his rep.

Am I missing something here? He couldn't join the raid and get the achievement WITH 39 other people? What is the point? The bottom line is that he IS doing just for the sake of being an ass wipe because you do not get a bonus for "soloing" the city raid boss. There's a couple names for this antisocial behavior but most apt is "immature !@#$ head".
And to people who think this is clever and/or funny: I bet you would quickly change your mind if it was your raid that you spent some time getting together.
Thankfully the vast majority of people I have played with in WoW actually enjoy playing WITH people, not AGAINST them. Grow up.

Evil, but clever. I approve :-)

^ Yes, evil and clever. But it would also suck if it happened to me. Bannable? No way. Suspension? Maybe, but doubtful.

Why should any action be taken against him? LOL. What did he do wrong? Please, please show me something in the official ToU/S showing that he broke a rule by doing this. Kthx.

Natural selection and survival of the fittest/smartest
This is a load of crap, and you know it. This game is largely based on cooperating with other people, especially at the upper tier of it (raiding,BGs etc). So if everyone acted like this guy noone would ever get anything done.
Secondly, this kind of behavior also does not give him any bonus/benefit. All it does it hurt other people. So all he is doing is acting like a jackass for the sake of it. And that is far from natural selection and/or survival of the fittest. Next time you decide to use scientific terms make sure they fit into the argument.
