EVeryone that puts down a build aways seems to have imp rend. That is the most pointless skill especially if you are prot of fury. It is made for a hard hitting 2 handed weapon and even then it still does not damage. As prot it probably does like 200 damage over 21 seconds which is about the same as 1 white hit and you could have used sunder instead.
Focused rage is one of my favorite talents reducing all your hits by3 rage. a git for 2 rage is awesome and keeps your rage up. I also get imp heroic strike. I guess if you are end game(SSC or higher) there rage reducers won't help as much since every time you get hit you get almost 100 rage.
anything pre kara you rally need those rage reducers.

Remove points from Imp. Rend & Iron Will...if you want Imp. Thunderclap, go 5/5 Deflection all the way. If you want Anger Management, put in 3/3 Imp. Heroic Strike to get there.
You went Protection, but forgot Last Stand? Whoa...
While you need Defense, take 5/5 Anticipation (you can remove points from this to put in Toughness after you reach certain gear levels, get & maintain 490 Defense at all times).
I placed some filler points in things like Imp. Taunt (good for pickup groups), but you may wish to move them around to things like Imp. Shield Wall or Imp. Bloodrage. Make sure you keep Imp. Sunder Armor as it was changed in 2.3 -- Devaste now automatically applies the Sunder Armor ability and is fully affected by this talent (-3 rage for Devastate).

ok dont need heroic strike 3 points in improved revenge and NONE in sunder armor imo
Imp. Revenge isn't something I ever used really, but if you do 5-man content exclusively then it's up to preference sort of...filler points.
Imp. Sunder Armor may as well be a requirement for 41pt Protection since 2.3, imo.
