Spending 2k or so gold to level tailoring to 375 when you'll just replace it with crap from kara sounds like a pretty terrible investment to me. Go alchemy so you can make cheapo Mad Alchemy Potions. You won't regret it.

Its doubtful you'd be replacing the Primal Mooncloth set with Kara drops, even as a Shaman. The +healing, the most important stat as a healer, from Primal Mooncloth is superior to the T4 Resto items.
I still wouldn't level Tailoring as a Shaman though.

The set has no stamina, and has spirit which is useless. I'd much rather use the kara mail pieces.
A 70 draenei shaman has 122 spirit naked, and properly itemized healing mail has no spirit. Even if you had 300 spirit from gear and buffs, the 5% regen bonus from PMC would work out to something retardedly bad like 10mp5. For wearing a set that has no stamina, and no armor. I dunno about you, but I like having armor. Not getting one shot by SSC/TK trash when some moron breaks a sheep, or surviving a few smacks from murlocs on Tidewalker, or even actually tanking Leotheras for 8ish seconds is pretty sweet.
