2.3 is here and the sub tree has been buffed so what does everyone think of using
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=fheboxZZxMeoMGRoxst
and similar specs for a Sword/ Shadowstep build.
I think this spec has some promise if you us it right and I have tried it with some success but I don’t know if it will beat out the deep combat specs in an arena setting.

It seems the purpose of a Sub build has really been lost on the rogue community. You cannot nor should you expect to pump out the same amount of damage as you would with combat or assassination builds, even with this latest round of buffs the tree got.
The point of subtlety is to control your opponent while avoiding damage.
It takes a little more skill and strategy, a little extra knowledge of your own class as well as others. But masters in the subtlety tree can take down almost any opponent even at a moderate gear disadvantage.

I am new to the Rogue Class and have aways had a strong pull/interest in this part of the Rogue Tree---after reading what you wrote, I have to say that I am more intrigued than ever with this particular play style---thank you very much. =)
