Character: Kitanga
Location: ?
When Kitanga woke up, the first thing she felt was the feeling of grass. She immediately tensed up, feeling her abdomen, and to her amazement, found it to be total healed. Not even a scar remained to remind her of her injury.
"I thought I was dead?" she asked, sitting up and looking around.
"
There is a time for everything,
" the wind whispered, wafting past her ear. "
Your time has not come yet.
"
"Did I kill him?" she asked, looking around, seeing nothing but grasslands in every direction, except a herd of clefthooves that grazed in the distance.
"
...no...
" the voice of the wind whispered back, an almost apologetic tone in its voice. "
He has the magic of the Holy Light protecting him. It is not our place to interfere.
"
"Then I will gather the Horde. I will show them my scars. My father will vouch for me," she answered. "Will you guide me back?"
The voice was silent for a moment, as if it was in conflict. Two breezes intersected on Kitanga, causing small invisible cyclones to stir the grass.
"
We will do what we can to help you, but we know not to what extent that will be yet,
" the voice answered.
"I understand," Kitanga nodded. "Still... I must at least warn the Horde. This cannot stand."

The Sever's Asylum - Kitanga
Ziktri breathed a sigh of relief as the machine disabled itself.
"I trust you now realize the error of your thinking? Had the device actually been set to go off, then you would be dead. You failed to complete the machine like you thought you could, you ignorance to your own shortcomings nearly cost you your life."

The Sever's Asylum - Kitanga
"Hello Kitanga," the Sever's voice came out of nowhere and she jumped up, ready to fight. "If you are hearing this, then you managed to survive my final trap. However, regardless to whether or not you have learned anything, I'm afraid that your actions simply cannot be left unpunished."
Kitanga walked around, her weapons ready.
"You will probably seek to rally the Horde against me, however I should warn you that you will never find my asylum. No one to this day has succeeded. In the interests of not letting a noble shaman such as yourself be labeled insane, I warn you of this."
She walked over in the voices direction, ready for anything.
"Your father had his own games to play. Did he tell you that? He needed to answer for the many that he had killed, both under the demonic influence and not, as well as his own rage and inner demons that needed to be dealt with.
"Unfortunately, I feel it is my duty to inform you that he failed."
Kitanga fell to her feet, her father's bloody, disembowled corpse was lying on the ground before her. A device that the Sever's voice was playing out of was lying next to it

(( Undead characters, I hate them. Not that they're not fun to trap, they're just hard to threaten. They're already dead and the only thing I can come up with to really hurt them is the Holy Light.
This dosn't mean you should change your character though, Pyg.))

Chains of Holy Energy materialized around the undead's body, chaining her in place. Bolts of the Holy Light were also cast, killing her Felhounds quickly enough.
"Hammer of Justice!" a voice yelled, and a Holy hammer struck Saphire full on in the back of the head.

"Yes sir," one of the othe rapprentices said, and struck Saphire with another bolt of Holy Energy.

Character: Kitanga
Location: Nagrand
Kitanga roared with grief and rage, her eye briefly flashing back to red and her deep cry echoing through the hills of Nagrand. She put her arms around her father's neck and collapsed ontop of him, disregarding the bloody mess that was staining her clothes.
Character: Riranthen Firebough
Location: Silvermoon
Biography: Riranthen Firebough is a blood mage who lost his wife and eldest daughter to the Scourge in sacking of Quel'thalas. His wife's skin, arms and partial skull were used to make an abomination, while his daughter was turned into a banshee, later joining Sylvanas as a Dark Ranger of the Forsaken. He sent his younger daughter with Kael'thas to Outland to forge a new home for the Blood Elves while he stayed behind to destroy the Scourge; she was later killed in the attack on Tempest Keep by the Alliance. His eldest daughter has grown distant from him, even though they both seek to destroy the Scourge at all cost.
Riranthen sat in his study, reading his spellbook for the thousandth time as he researched for a thesis regarding ley lines and portal magic.

The Sever's Asylum - Saphire
An arcane orb appeared before Saphire, the image of an orc puppet displayed in it. "Hello Saphire, I would like to play a game.
"You are a dark-hearted soul, void of any emotions - or so you say. Why is this? Do you enjoy causing pain, causing misery, or are you trying to hide from something?
"Many of the deaths you have caused have been ironic in nature. Why? I suppose it matters not, however this first test will involve just that.
"I have inserted a special relic into your body, one of the Holy Light. Through a complex series of spells I have succeeded in binding its pressence within you to your very life. You may be feeling some pain in that very area, it is indeed being caused by the relic, but before you attempt to remove it, hear me out.
"Should the relic be damaged or taken out of your body will react in a way as it you had been slain. The Light abandoned you when you died, or so you think, and in return you embraced the shadows. Now you will find that it is the only thing keeping you alive.
"You will also see that the room you are in is littered with relics of shadow. Avoid them, for, should you make contact with them, they will destroy the holy relic I spoke of ealier and kill you.
"The Light that you hate gives you life, but the shadows you seek refuge in will be your death. Ironic, isn't it?
"
Let the game's begin
."

The Sever's Asylum - Saphire
"Ah, yes, thank you for reminding me," instantly Saphire cultched her chest as a shock passed through her body. Her pet also dissapered.
"Within your heart I have placed a gem that redirects any magic you use back into itself and causes you to feel a very painful shock of energy. I also wouldn't suggest you attempt to remove it, you would most likely damage the holy relic in the process."
(( Just Don't move his hand and he'll be good. ))

As Riranthen opened the door a dart struck him in the neck. He began to feel drowsy, and his tounge swelled, preventing him from speaking.

Riranthen blinked several times, immediately incinerating the dart. He turned to face his attacker, but collapsed to the ground. Within moments, he was unconscious.
...
When he woke up he was lying down on a metal table.
"Hello," an arcane orb announced, appearing before Riranthen, the image of an orc puppet displayed in it. "And welcome to my Asylum. I would like to play a game. I hope your brief detention in the... *ahem*... relaxation vault has been a pleasant one," the voice chuckled slightly. "Your specimen has been processed, and we are now ready to begin the test proper. Before we start, however, keep in mind that although learning is the primary goal of all activities here, serious injuries may occur..." the voice paused, chuckling slightly again. "You drowned yourself in magic after the death of your family, and I am here to help you be free of that. I have implanted a gem within your heart that will block all magic besides short range portal spells, which you will be using to move through your tests..." the voice paused. "You have imprisoned yourself with hatred and bitterness, Riranthen. Can you escape the maze of your own design?"
Riranthen sat up, inspecting the stitched on his chest, grunting painfully as he ran his hand across them.
"Portals, huh?" he chuckled quietly. "This will be easy."
