Question about healing talents

This is the basic build I got out of the stickies (and with some thinking of my own ;)):
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#0VG0zZZf0fuduxVuVhsVo
It has all the important talents but 7 points to spend. I am very unsure where to put them.
The choices are:
Revitalize
: Nice support but is the amount really in any way significant? 15% chance to 1% mana really isn't much ...
Nature's Grace
: With Nourish critting all the time this should be really useful. However, I see it skipped in the guides quite often. Is there any reason for it?
Tranquil Spirit
: Saves some mana but only on Nourish (I almost never use HT and Tranquility). Doesn't really seem worth it to me - but then again most guides max it out. Why?
Natural Perfection
: Since the HoTs can't crit this doesn't really seem good. But the other talents don't seem too strong either so it might even be worth it ;)
With 7 points left I can max any 2 of those but I really have no idea which ones would give the best results. Help?

My starting point is basically the same as yours except I take Reviatlize before Living Seed. I think those last seven points depend on if you are an MT healer or a Raid healer.
If you are a raid healer (like I am) then you really need Revitalize and Improved Tranquility.
If you are an MT healer then I would be looking at Natural Perfection (more crits) and Tranquil Spirit (less mana)
Personally I think the buff from Natures Grace is too short to really benefit, add in some lag and you will likely only get two 1 sec casts in (Nourish or Regrowth) before its over. If they make it last a bit longer in the future, then I would take it.
I've actually just redone my build to dig down to Celestial Focus for 3% Haste, but at first glance it is not as effective as I had hoped. So I will probably undo that.
Nature's Grace is short and it will most likely only be active for 2 Nourish but with a 50% crit rate for Nourish it is very likely to proc again from those 2, right? So when using Nourish (or Regrowth) often enough it should be active most of the time. That's a whoopin 20% haste so even if it is only active 15% of the time it will still beat Celestial Focus (3% permanent haste). And it procs more often the more you spam Nourish/Regrowth. Those usually get spammed in tense situations, so the talent gets stronger the harder things go. Sounds pretty good to me.
NG does give normal spell haste so while it is active the HoTs will tick faster, right?
For group healing I haven't found that much use for Improved Tranquility. I'm not in the big raids yet but at least in heroics I don't need the ohshi-button that often. Threat is never an issue with decent tanks. I think I never used Tranquility more then once in an instance so far and even then it was mostly because I was too lazy to cast a few Regrowth. Tranqulity only targets the own group, right? That should make it almost useless in raids.
For crits don't just think Nourish and Regrowth. Think Lifebloom blooms and Swiftmends also. They can both proc a living seed and nature's grace, making NG alot more viable in my opinion.
There's been alot of discussions about Revitalize, I guess it boils down to personal preference. I chose to skip it because it's unreliable; I mean, eight times 15% chance isn't ground shaking. Also, while it might be a nice addition, it's not helping me keep people alive.
Natural Perfection isn't that hot in my opinion, we should prefer haste untill our GCD is 1 sec, Celestial Focus (although a trickier to reach) is much, much better. Don't get me wrong, I wont avoid crit on gear, but I wont spec into it either.
Tranquil spirit is a very good talent, your "OH SH#T" button goes from 10 to 4 minutes (nevermind the threat). I used to have it, but what annoys me about Tranq. at the moment is that it's not a smart heal. Chaincasting rejuv / wild growth / nourish spamming is more effective I think.
Personally, I grabbed NG, 1/1 brambles and 3/3 Celestial Focus. Loving it!
/edit, removed the quote.
Good point with the living seed and better crits. Still, it's only 3% ... which seems like a pretty low return for 3 talent points.
And I think you mixed up some skill names. Improved Tranquility changes the oshi-button, not Tranquil Spirit.
And what you said about Natural Perfecton directly contradicts the whole "crits for Swiftmend and Lifebloom" thingy.

Ok I now get it ;) NG is awesome and procs often in fights, especially in hard ones (where Nourish/Regrowth is used often). So I'll spec in to that one for sure.
CF (3% haste) is available then and stronger then NP (3% crit) so NP is out of the picture.
But on the other hand 3% haste really isn't that much .. I think Revitalize should be able to compete with it.
Bottom line: I'm still unsure about the last talent to grab. The choice is between Revitalize, Celestial Focus and Tranquil Spirit.

12.6 mana per point with 4 points in Tranquil Spirit would be 50.4 mana per cast. That could be as much as 200 mp5 (when spamming Nourish only with enough haste to get it to 1s). A more practical value would be something between 20 and 50 mp5 (since HoTs have to be refreshed and Regrowth needs to be cast).
I actually have no idea how often I really use Nourish, can a more experienced healer provide some solid numbers on this (meaning: translate the cheaper cost into an average mp5) ?
mp5 has an item rating of 2.5 compared to the 1 of haste (so 1 mp5 equals 2.5 haste if I understand it correctly, right?). Which means that in the end Tranquil Spirit is a lot better then I thought.
Is that line of thought correct or is there some major error?

Disclaimer: There are different ways to restoheal. This assumes that the druid has raid heal obligations, and is not being used to single-target heal a tank.
Nourish is pretty awesome, but it its spammy use is reserved for very circumstantial fights, and only in short bursts. I'm thinking Mimiron phase 1 or Vezax's soft enrage (if your tank is doing it wrong). I believe that 10 casts every minute is a generous estimate for Nourish usage on the fights where it comes into play (so 10mp5 per talent point). That's a very rough estimate though.
Tranquil Spirit is a nice talent, but isn't as good as the other options. Nourish Spam fights are not the ones that run you out of mana, because the healing on those is so bursty you don't really cast a lot.
These are my picks, btw...
3/3 Nature's Grace
1/5 Tranquil Spirit
0/2 Improved Tranquility
0/3 Natural Perfection
3/3 Living Seed
3/3 Revitalize

Imp Tranq imo is wasted in any situation, too long of a CD and a so so heal.
Revitalize? No. Never. You a) always have a hunter, b) always have a priest, or c) always have a ret pally. sooo why? Not to mention the fact that we're druids, if you have mana issues, ever, youre doin something wrong.
Nature's Grace i think is a must, yes because of Nourish. Especially with the way it looks like blizz is directing trees (pally healers much?)
Natural Perfection well... free crit is free crit, again this becomes even better because of Nourish.
These are obviously just my opinions, take em with a grain of salt.

All but Algalon good sir. No mana issues. Ever. Save for General which is obvious.

...It has 90% chance to proc over all 8 ticks...
For Rejuvenation, there's 6 ticks (assuming nature's splendor), 15% chance to proc per tick (85% chance to NOT proc):
Chance of 0 procs = 0.85^6 = 0.377 = 37.7% chance of 0 procs
So, chance that Revitalize will proc
at least
once over 1 Rejuv =
62.3%
(NOT 90%)
For Wild Growth, there's 7 ticks, 1 - 0.85^7 =
68.0%
chance of proccing at least once.
For whatever you were referring to that has 8 ticks (I don't know what, but I'm an idiot): 1- 0.85^8 =
72.8%
(at least 1)
