Patch 3.1 will greatly increase the damage bonus of
Darkmoon Card: Death (ptr version)
. Do you think it's on par, subpar or above, compared to
Mirror of Truth (live version)
?
Mirror procs on crits, Card procs on any hit. What's your opinion?

do that the dmc death share a cd with dmc greatness?
Shouldn't

Seems to me it might share a CD with
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40371
however.
And honestly, I'd rather use Bandit's Insignia for the static AP as opposed to crit.

I've already got the Greatness card too (+90 agi) equipped with Mirror. I was thinking to swap Mirror with Card: Death, that's why I asked... Hmmm hard to understand if it will be better or not.

Mirror of truth still looks better to me. A 2000damage single attack, versus as many attacks as I can squeeze into the 10 seconds I gain the 1000AP from the MoT proc. I would assume the latter would be better.
Hmmm interesting point of view indeed. Just coupling Rapid Killing with a single Mirror's proc should obliterate the Death trinket.

These comments from its wowhead page sound some-what promising though I'm still not sure it will equal the mirror. One thing to consider is that this is going to proc about 50% more often than the mirror will.
"I critted 4,2k with this trinket on dummy in PTR...
Somehow it is affected by stats I think because I generally hit higher with the trinket then the tooltip."
"confirmed, on the PTR this trinket is hitting for 2300 average hit and 4500 average crit."

It still has a 45s hidden cooldown like MofTruth, so it's hard to understand the real benefits. Best thing is to equip both and test I guess.

The death card procs almost immediately after the cooldown is up though. It's like 46 seconds b/t procs. The mirror takes much longer. I've read before that it's like 1:05-1:10 average time b/t mirror procs, but i'm not positive that is correct.
When i get home this afternoon I'm gonna check my procodile for the uptime % for mirror. It's been tracking it for a couple months now.

That's true, it does not proc so often as it's based on crits. You have to crit and then it has a chanche on that crit... Basically a % on another %... I hate it...! people should buy the deck now that 3.1 is not live yet.

I would imagine that after the patch, this trinket paired with mirror of truth would be pretty sweet until you can pick up a trinket better than death.
Having Greatness +90AGI card, I'd like to couple it with Death and see the final effects...

I'm scavenging this semi-old thread to get some updated feedback about what's the best between Mirror and DC:D. Anyone?

Getting DMC:G and farming regular ToC for the Banner is IMO the best way to go.
For sure
