Also: regarding gear:
EH/Avoidance set
BV/Block set
Threat set
+ melee DPS weapon to switch out.
Also: Regarding Bag space
WTB X4
Bigger bags!
Yes, I know its not as bad as the resist gear days. But us tanks have it the worst. I mean I accually to have a block set again now because 25 man TOC hardmode requires one. Then you have a Ret set a Holy set a PVP set and I have like a full 20 slot back full of fun items like baby spice and snowballs!
WTB more bag space!
Cheers,

Do what i do..... send everything that isnt gear to my alt.... who has own guild... with 4 g-bank slots..... hahahaha
Blizz really should make us bigger bags... or better yet... open up an additional 1-2 bag slots.

Overhaul
What blizz ought to do is have a dedicated slot for gear sets ie like the key slot so you can keep at least the gear for your two specs or revamp equipment manager to do that and every thing you have saved shows up in the equip manager so its not in inventory.... its a pain carrying a ret, prot, holy, and pvp set on you at all times
When i heard about equipment manager and the duel spec coming out that is how i thought it was going to work. It really got me depressed when I duel speced and found out I had to have 2 sets of gear in my bags.
That is one of the major reasons I am duel speced prot/prot. One for PvP and one for PvE, that way i don't carry so much gear around. It is also a lot cheaper and makes things easy for me.

The OP is not expertise capped. You are dodged capped, but you can go up to 57 expertise and still get some returns. Keep using the Expertise glyph until then, it is better than the others.

Bosses have 15% parry. So 60 expertise to meet the hard cap, not 57.

IIRC not all bosses have the same amount of parry.
Please forgive my ignorance here but what exactly are you focusing on in each of those sets? Bv/Block is obvious. EH/Avoidance, is that all stam, dodge and parry or is there some block in there as well?
What about threat? I was under the impression that high block was already a high threat stat... Is it str, hit and expertise as well? Shouldn't you always have high hit and expertise regardless of what set you are using?
Your position is fair enough it's more personal preference to draw some lines, you don't have to, I'm a bit more of an idealist.
BV/Block happens to be the most obvious because it is generally considered the "trash" or "heroics" set, where the general idealism here is 102.4% without Holy Shield to tank multitudes of adds while mitigating most of the damage.
EH/Avoidance has 2 general variations: 102.4% cap and then stacking pure stamina, or just stacking stamina and pure avoidance before the cap while ignoring block altogether. There is a third variation, which was seen in Sunwell, where the tank stacks pure avoidance instead of stamina. That's no longer common.
Neither of the above sets need to hit or expertise capped, that's not the goal, the goal for those two are survival.
The threat set goes for hit, expertise, block value and strength at the cost of avoidance generally. This is where the threat weapon generally kicks in as it is the easiest way to raise threat. This notion really died off in WotLK with the idea that threat is no longer an issue. This set still has a massive advantage in farm runs though.

Indeed but if i'm not mistaken the highest is 15% also the most common.
And even if 99/100 bosses would have only 12% parry, 60 exp would be the hard cap.

Whoever complains about bag space didn't play in vanilla thus has really nothing to say.
You all should be happy you only need to carry around 2 or 3 sets of gear plus buffs.

Well, I carry around 5 complete sets of gear + ~20 scattered articles :P
But that's just me.
