Well I'm going to disagree with you on that. We have a feral tank, and he is appropriately specced and geared. The same thing can happen with our warrior OT. And with our dps doing 5k+ dps, I wouldn't call them poor.

It really shouldn't be too hard for a tank to be above dps with md and tot on cooldown. Now, if your dps is nuts, I'd suggest the tank making sure he has some hit rating and a good amount of expertise.
Our mt is in his tps gear as of right now:

On topic though, saying that you need x or y to be a great healer is wrong. Play with what you are comfortable with. One of the best healers I've seen heals with blizzard raid frames, so addons aren't needed.

All the people that say use keybinds, I think, are doing themselves a disservice (unless its for focus target only). This is because you still need to select a target. With raidframes, all you have to do is click the right mouse button + key board modifier, and you are casting your spell. this is THE way to heal, hands down.
I disagree. Mouseover macros give you much better speed and reaction time than any other form.
Don't believe me? Throw me into Kelthuzard and see who's the only healing saving people from the ice blocks.
All my spells are keybound and all my healing spells are in mouseover macros. It gives me a lot more freedom and speed when healing that on some fights, means the difference between success and wipe.

tried that, if i right click, it will cast on my target, however if i left click it will do nothing :(
i will try the macro forum and see if they can help :)
My friend has the same problem.
Just change "target=self" into "target=<yourname>". That works >_>
Target=player(##RESPBREAK##)136##DELIM##hatman555##DELIM## Necro. While some of this information is still valid, there are some out of date things in this post. Post a new topic if people still need help with macros.
