If only there was a way to manually bloom it. It'd make that 22k actually useful. :(
Swiftbloom 3.2? *I can dream.

I haven't had much trouble at all getting use out of the bloom. When it's down to < 2 seconds, I check the tank's HP and if he/she is missing 6-7k+ I just let it bloom. Otherwise, I refresh it. Worse comes to worse it does end up as overhealing and I pocket 1.5k mana.
Having the mechanic function like this creates another fast reflex situation, which IMO is fun.
Being able to swiftmend it just seems like the easy way out.

I practice the same method more or less with my lifeblooms. A much more involved playstyle as opposed to just keeping up the 3x stack....its more enjoyable too deciding to keep it and later letting it bloom for a sweet bloom right when the tank needs it. Works great also for fights when you know big damage is coming and you can work the timers (The same way we use the bloom on loatheb)
Aye, I always got the LB on the tank, its kind of an emergency heal that can save the tank. Like when the off-tank take huge dmg and you need to focus on him, and at the same time the main tank is takeing some dmg, the LB Blooms and you might get that 19k heal on him. Giving you room to put up a stack of heals on the off-tank before going back to the MT.
I think it would be just too easy being able to force it to Bloom. Like Roxin says, its more enjoyable to have this challenge and being able to plan it out, being good at it, timeing it perfectly. Thats whats playing the game is about, not just pressing the buttons.
And its a nice way to get some mana. Put a LB on some partymembers, let it Bloom and you get those nice 1,5k mana coming your way :)

Or, dont, and you save 5% of your manapool ? :o
Depends on your gear and build. T7 reduces the cost by 5%. I`ve used this one in heroics, works fine. I always end up with 100% mana when I let it bloom (when only useing LB). I rarely go under 60% mana in heroics when letting it bloom here and there.
I`m gonna admit that I havent healed for a long time. My main spec is tanking. But these are my latest experiences, and its from heroics.

The lifebloom burst isn't bigger with 3 stacks then 1 right?
The more stacks the bigger the bloom.
