Get out of my hed you foul monstrosity!
Saz replied, using what psichonic power he had to try and force the monster's mental barrage back. He looked up, he was getting close to the monster's head, but the beast itself was getting closer to the hole from which it had crawled. He could try and kill it, but he'd risk being overwhelmed in the beasts lair.
With a glare he backflipped off of the creature, cloaking as he retreated. Hopefully the monster's mental influence would waine with distance. He didn't notice Avea still fighting the faceless.

'Tell your pride my arms and my shoulders apologise for this, tsk-tsk, necessary evil - not that I consider it evil, of course.' - If Gregory could insert a re-assuring smile inside his mind, he would certainly do it. Before he could think something else, a familiar figure appeared.
"Father Pureheart, nice to meet you. I thank you, strangers, for your aid, and I guess I owe you an apology. His Majesty the King has been informed about the fray, and now seeks to meet you two." - said general Marcus Jonathan, saluting at Eva and Greg. Even if he was surprised by the sight of Eva sitting on Greg's shoulder, he didn't show it.
'Wow, I guess we will fulfill our diplomatic mission after all.'

'Did I tell you you're so-o-o cute when you're mad at me?' - thought Gregory, smiling from ear to ear while gently letting Eva down - 'Mind you, if this cleric here is right about you having to restrain from walking, I'll be there to catch you.'
Marcus managed to show a full spectre of emotions by merely raising an eyebrow. He turned around and gestured the two to follow him.
'Damn, ain't the place luxurious?' - thought Mandrake, walking through the Stormwind keep - 'And I guess that stoneface with Spiked Shoulders of Doom, Plate Girdle of Doom and a Big Damn Sword is the local king.' - he added, coming up to the throne, pressing his right fist against his heart and bowing his head politely.

"Affirmative, Your Majesty. Your city has been besieged by a group of terrans - terrans being a term we call ourselves, - who were once part of our organisation, but have lately sworn allegiance to the Burning Legion." - Gregory was talking quickly and confidently, with all due respect - "Before the betrayal, they, alongside with us, were pursuing space-ships - space-ship being a term describing a vessel used to travel between the stars - of Terran Dominion - a corrupt and malefic organisation who had usurped our home after murdering all the population of the planet where the former government was located on - and by all the population I mean no less than 2,000,000,000 terrans. To make matters worse, at least one of their space-ships was infested by the Zerg. The Zerg are a terrifying and ruthless amalgamation of biologically advanced, arthropodal aliens. Dedicated to the pursuit of genetic perfection, the Zerg relentlessly hunt down and assimilate advanced species across the galaxy, incorporating useful genetic code into their own, and exterminate any species that might corrupt the purity of the Zerg genome."

"You have our gratitude, Your Majesty," - bowed Gregory Mandrake, - "But if I may ask you a question, sire? A cleric of yours mentioned that another group of inter-stellar travellers have crashed into this planet recently, and that they are now a part of your Alliance. Is there any opportunity we could meet them, sire?"

"Sire."
Greg saluted, spun around and marched out of the throne room, thinking - 'I think we actually succeeded, eh, Eva? Lord Raynor will be pleased when he finds out.
Now we find those dreney or whatever they call themselves and find out whether they can provide us with alternative to vespene and minerals. And I'd like to have a word or two with that Pureheart fellow - now that our medical supplies are almost depleted, a squad of healers won't hurt.'
He tapped his chin in thought and added - 'That is, if you're okay with this plan, darlin'.'

Greg had it coming and he knew it. But, being a psionic, he could predict that move, so he leaned back a little, and what should have been a bone-breaking hit became an almost gentle stroke.
"Okay, I got it, Eva. No, honestly." - he said, but perhaps an ear-to-ear smile that revealed all his white teeth spoiled the impression somewhat.

Mandrake shrugged and unsheathed his warp scythe...
Okay, now that our narrative is temporarily free from demon possessed marines, swarms of xenomoprhs and any other distractions, we can waste some time to take a closer look at lieutenant's appearance.
First of all, the afore-mentioned Zer'Atai dual warp scythe - an uncommon weapon to say the least, and even more so considering the fact that its blades were not green, like those of dark templar, nor blue, a prerogative of zealots, oh no - the blades were red, and that contributed much to the overall style of the spectre.
The black pole of the scythe was now resting on Gregory's right shoulder, the edge behind him pointing at the sky and the edge in front of him, not surprisingly, into the ground. The scythe was almost touching butt of the
Spokesman
, the rifle itself attached to the spectre's back.
The hostile environment suit was, on the other hand, quite normal for a spectre - a dark set of armor, with red strokes of light occasionally flashing here and there - perhaps brighter than those of an average Project Shadow Blade member, but that was not a surprise, for Gregory's armor was enhanced by a Nyx-Class Cloaking Module that allowed him to keep up the camouflage almost indefinitely.
...and walked on nonchalantly, the weapon occasionally cracking maliciously.
'Hey, boss, have you been to Ulnar? That xel'naga worldship in the Sigma Quadrant.' - he thought 'loudly'.

'Too bad. I recall it clearly now - imagine my surprise, I'm landing from the
Hyperion
to discover several dark templar in our base fighting the Tal'Darim! Not that the surprise stopped me from saving one of those Zer'Atai fellas - by sniping through a head of enemy zealot. He appreciated it to an extent of gifting me one of his scythes and spending several hours trying to teach me the basics - after we blew up that mothership and recovered the relic, of course. Heh, he was even more surprised that I didn't cut myself...'
