Imp BoW is not overwritten by any manaspring totem, improved or not?
BoW is overwritten by imp mana spring
BoW is not overwritten by normal mana spring
I havn't tested it in a while, but pretty sure it is this.

Mana Spring vs BoW is something that really annoys me... why can't we be able to have both buffs up, but only benefitting from one? Always end up losing my BoWs somehow and having to go and drop Mana Spring anyway.

as resto, is it even neccessary to drop mana tide at all? I use healing stream as it better in 5 mans as well as 10/25 since at that point, someone will have replenishment.
Just avoid the whole situation and dont drop mana tide at all when there is a pali..

BoS = Kings + 3% extra dmg reduction.
This is not true.BoS only gives 10% Sta+ 3% dmg reduction( dunno if the str part is added yet). So for shamans, if you got 2 paladins kings+wisdom is still best(if its from a holy paladin). Use your water totem for something els.

If I have a Prot Paladin in the raid + a Ret/Holy, i'll ask for Sanct on top of Kings and drop Mana Spring over Healing Stream.

Do sanct and kings stack (the 3% dmg reduction maybe?)
but yes, the paladin should have imp wisdom. For that same reason a shaman does not need improved mana spring. If you have multiple paladins (with atleast 1 holy) it is worth spending points in this since the entire raid profits (and not only the paladin)
Why would a Resto shaman pass up on Improved Mana Spring totem? They have to put the points in to get down to Mana Tide, which is basically a requirement. And no, the entire raid doesn't benefit from Mana Spring, as water totems are party-wide.
And yes, the damage reduction portion of BoSanc does stack with Kings. It's the 10% stats portion that does not stack.

Do sanct and kings stack (the 3% dmg reduction maybe?)
Sact gives 3% damage red, 10% sta and 10% str.
Kings gives 10% all stats (sta, str, agil, int, spi).
The stat gain does not stack. So even if you have sact already you may want kings to get the 10% bonus int. And if you have kings already you might want to get sanct for the 3% damage reduction.
