Hi All,
Looking for a macro that
1. casts a spell on the target of target if the target of target is an enemy (Without losing my current target)
2. casts a spell on the nearest enemy if the target of target is not an enemy (Without losing my current target)
currently, i got the first part down, but I cant get the second part
#showtooltip
/use crusader strike
/use crusader strike
Anyone have any suggestions?

No, you can't cast a spell on a random nearby target without losing your target.

nulgar thanks for the reply!
What if I want the following:
casts a spell on the target of target if the target of target is an enemy (Without losing my current target)
or
casts a spell on the nearest enemy if the target of target is not an enemy (Losing my current target is OKAY)

I think this will work but I haven't tested it
/targetenemy
/cast
I'm not sure how
/targetenemy
chooses targets. It might not be the closest enemy.

this macro works almost fine! just would like one adjustment if it isnt too much trouble!
Right now, if the current target is an enemy, and there is a lot of enemies nearby, using the macro would cylce through a nearby enemys and cast the spell. Is it possible to cast the spell on the enemy if the target is an enemy?

Hmm, that's more difficult since macro conditions can't check the state of two different targets at the same time.
Try this
/cast SPELLNAME
/stopmacro
/targetenemy
/cast SPELLNAME
