I'm not sure at 100%, but try :
/script if UnitName("target") then SendChatMessage("text", Common, UnitName("target")) end
Replace Common by Orcish if you're a Hordie

i know with Prat you just target someone and hit /tt. there's probably an addon with that single feature i bet though.

nil
. I.E./script if UnitName("target") then SendChatMessage("text" ,"WHISPER" ,nil ,UnitName("target")) end
