Tourlip is a localizer and has slightly more posting permissions than your average poster. I think the code in question is , though.

But yea, Staff members have access to a number of additional tags, which we hope to introduce the the regular users as well some time in the future.

In all seriousness, I remember discussing this with the rest of the team a few months back and the consensus seemed to be to allow the use of those tags, but we had concerns about their usability (since they require an item id instead of the item name). One of the proposals I liked was to parse direct links such as
Alex's Test Beatdown Staff
and render them as
Alex's Test Beatdown Staff
.
Most likely eventually something will be done with them, but right now there are many more important things to do. =)(##RESPBREAK##)2##DELIM##Koper##DELIM##

Indeed there are. Maybe allow the use as it is for staffers and just let the clever ones figure out how to use it. Like
