Firstly, this is only a guide as to what gear you can obtain through proffessions and from vendors. And by vendor's I mean Faction Quatermaster's, JP/VP/HP vendors, and the AH. Secondly this is primarily a list of healer gear, while their will be pieces in here that could be used for either healing or dps, if you see an item that has hit on it, then the obvious point would be that, if it's a good upgrade over what you currently have, you could get it and reforge that hit into something else.
Disclaimer: I am not making recomendations here, just showing you a list of gear that you could get if you so desire. For us healers, obviously anything with spirit takes priority, but sometimes you can grab something, say from a rep faction, for cheap that will plug the gap until you get a better drop.
Contents:
My rec's for what to get.
T11 Gear
T12 Gear
VP Gear
JP Gear
Rep Gear
Crafted Gear
4.0 BoE's
4.1 BoE's
Firelands BoE's
Quest Reward Gear
T11 Gear:
Mercurial Cowl
-- Token - Drops from Nefarian
Mercurial Mantle
-- Token - Drops from Cho'gall
Mercurial Robes
-- 2,200 Justice Points
Mercurial Handwraps
-- 1,650 Justice Points
Mercurial Legwraps
-- 2,200 Justice Points
Obviously the 4pc is quite valueable, possibly more so for Holy with the incease in the duration and deacrease in CD of Chakra. The piece you will want to exclude will depend on if you are Holy or Disc. Holy will have less use for crit than Disc, and Disc will want to keep very equal levels of mastery and crit the way things are right now.
T12 Gear:
Cowl of the Cleansing Flame
-- Token - Drops from Ragnaros
Mantle of the Cleansing Flame
-- Token - Drops from Majordomo Staghelm
Robes of the Cleansing Flame
-- 2,200 Valor Points
Handwraps of the Cleansing Flame
-- 1,650 Valor Points
Legwraps of the Cleansing Flame
-- 2,200 Valor Points
With regards to the set bonuses, the 2 piece is fantastic, given the absurdly low amounts of cloth spirit gear in this patch, and the 4 piece is somewhat reminiciant of Holy's mastery in that it is just free healing that costs no mana. In other words, get them all.
VP Gear:
Firemind Pendant
-- 1250 Valor Points
Firesoul Wristguards
-- 1250 Valor Points
As with the 359 boots in the previous raiding tier, these bracers are BoE, and therefor you can either sell them, or farm the VP's on one of your toons and give them to another if you are so inclined. 1250 VP's is somewhat easy to get still. If you get VP capped for 2 weeks in a row you would have enough for one 1250vp item and one 700vp item.
Soothing Brimstone Circle
-- 1250 Valor Points
Scorchvine Wand
-- 700 Valor Points
JP Gear:
Heavenly Breeze
-- 1,250 Justice Points
Slippers of Moving Waters
-- 1,650 Justice Points
Note: These boots are Bind on Equip, so you can, if you have a better geared 85, or a friend or guild mate who is willing to help, farm the JP's for these very quickly. Or you can just buy them. I've seen them selling on my server for anything from 300g to about 3k.
Twined Band of Flowers
-- 1,250 Justice Points
Band of Secret Names
-- 1,250 Justice Points
Core of Ripeness
-- 1,650 Justice Points
Soul Casket
-- 1,650 Justice Points
Mask of New Snow
-- 2,200 Justice Points
Celadon Pendant
-- 1,250 Justice Points
Summer Song Shoulderwraps
-- 1,650 Justice Points
Musk Rose Robes
-- 2,200 Justice Points
Robes of Embalmed Darkness
-- 2,200 Justice Points
Belt of the Falling Rain
-- 1,650 Justice Points
Incense Infused Cummerbund
-- 1,650 Justice Points
Gloves of Purification
-- 1,650 Justice Points
Gloves of the Painless Midnight
-- 1,650 Justice Points
Leggings of Charity
-- 2,200 Justice Points
Pensive Legwraps
-- 2,200 Justice Points
Apple-Bent Bough
-- 950 Justice Points
Hermit's Lamp
-- 950 Justice Points

Rep Gear:
Avenger's of Hyjal:
Tier 12's raid rep faction, these guys are very easy to get rep with, just go kill things in Firelands. Took all of an hour to get friendly with them and get a very nice cloak. Please note you need 355+ item level to actually enter the Firelands instance, so don't think you can just go farm that stuff first. 355 ilvl is easily attainable now purely from

Darkmoon Card: Tsunami
-- Crafted through Inscription, this is a very expensive trinket to get off the AH. Well worth getting if you can afford either the time to farm out the mat's or have enough gold. This deck is made by getting the Ace of Waves through to the 8 of Waves and combining them. If you are making these cards, they are a random craft when you use the Darkmoon Card of Destruction recipie. This same recipie also makes cards for the other decks, and it's all random. If you are incredibly lucky, getting all 8 cards in a row that will still take 80x
Inferno Ink
, 240x
Volatile Life
and 8x
Resilient Parchment
. And wouldn't ya know it,
Inferno Ink
is a rare ink anyway, only dropping when you mill high level herbs. So it's pretty hard to get in large numbers. If you want to know more about making one of these decks check out this article over on
WoW Insider

The following items are from vendors, who are unlocked via the brand new quest lines. As a warning to anyone still leveling their priest, and planning to go to Vash'jir, these vendors require you to have completed several quest lines in Mount Hyjal.
Here's a good guide on what it takes to unlock the vendors that sell these items.

If anyone has any suggestions for gear to include in this list please mention it and I'll include it.
And lastly, thanks to everyone who voted for sticky. :D

I would mention the Darkmoon cards:
Darkmoon Card: Tsunami
for healing &
Darkmoon Card: Volcano
for DPS. Both come from inscription, and require a lot of luck to get the exact cards you want, but most people shouldn't have a problem buying them off AH.
It says VP/JP/HP vendors, and there doesn't seem to be any JP stuff, with a lot of VP stuff missing as well, I assume you will add those?
Typo in the paragraph after the tier set:
and disc will want to keep very equal levels of mastery and
disc
the way things are right now.
Otherwise, awesome list, gj.

JP and Quest gear added. Fleshed out the crafted section slightly as well. Feedback is welcome.

Awesome guide. Sticky requested.

Remove subjective stuff like: Unless you have a rediculous amount of gold, or have a character you can grind out the mat's for this on, I wouldn't really recommend it. It is a great trinket, for those that can afford it.
Also missing VP items still (rings, trinket etc.)
Post by
DraconisAerius
Other VP gear added in. My thanks for everyone's suggestions so far.
Edit: Also added in how much each of the vendor items costs.
Post by
karlusdavius
Maybe put the mats in for the darkmoon cards? other than that, just tidy up the formatting with bullet points, it breaks up the text os it's easier to read.

Two pieces missing:
Ring of the Boy Emperor
and
Tyrande's Favorite Doll
(both Arch items - ring from Tol'Vir and trink from NElf)
Otherwise, very useful list.
I can't believe I forgot those. Cheers.

A great formatting tip is to include the BBCode {hr} in between sections. Replace the { with
It creates the above effect. Great list, reported for sticky.

Aside from the ring and Doll in Archaeology, there are two staves available for grinding...with the nerf to offhand enchant, staves are now more viable.
Of course getting one of them is another story . . .
Staff of Ammunae
Staff of Sorcerer-Thane Thaurissan
Excellent point. Added them both.
