So few weeks ago I made an alt and decided to do kul tiras questing on it and omg i died alot. the monsters were so powerful, especially the heartsbane coven ones in drustvar, and in stormsong valley there was an unfinishable quest so i ended up deleting the alt.
does anyone know why the enemies in kul tiras are sooooooo overpowered? it was a gnome mage i made.i got it to about lvl 35 before i had to delete it.

Mostly because the Heart of Azeroth no longer provides the high levels of health and damage mitigation it used to. Especially on a cloth class that doesn't have a lot of protection to begin with.
My suggestion would be to do that content in a group if it's proving to be too difficult solo. Getting world quests unlocked as early as you can will be beneficial for the gear upgrades, which may help your survivability on a mage.

I would say that someone at Blizzard messed up. I've got a Lvl 46 Shaman, with Mail Armor, who is getting his butt kicked by even stupid animals in Kul Tiras.. It would seem that unless you are a Protection Paladin, you are in for one big mess.

Group up with your community and spam them with ALTs or spam random dungeons till 50, it will get easier at that point once you get a few pieces of gear.
Best of Luck
