I am a bit confused...
...is it still true that OoC doesn't proc on melee special abilities?
Omen can proc on Maul.

As a cat, I love getting a free swipe in and as resto, nobody ever complained to me about getting an extra stack of Lifebloom when I had OoC proc and wanted to drop it on someone. (side note, LB GIVES you back mana even if you don't use any to cast it)
This doesn't apply to my style of healing, because the thing I try to keep on cooldown is the global. It leads to about 60% overhealing but also lets me pass up a lot of healers who are better geared than me. Thus, its not an extra heal I pop out, but that much less mana I lose when I'm healing.

Hi. Im a new druid and im just wondering... is it really worth getting OoC after feral swiftness? Like missing all the mid-tier feral talents just for OoC? Really need some advice on this one.
I got it at 71 iirc, going down resto after getting down to Berserk at 60.

As far as I can tell you're talking about getting it while leveling. Don't every worry about your sub-tree until you at least get your 51 point talent. OoC < Berserk.

For raiding
its basicaly a must for all non tanks,
tanks i say its a wasted talent. Each fight the tank should be starting out with 30 or so rage. After charging in he still has enough for a mangle or a swipe and maul. If its multiple adds you will not run out of rage because each crit, dodge and damage done to you generate rage. Single target boss fights normaly one or two hits will fill up most of your rage bar. At this point ooc is usless. If I OT a fight like jaraxus were i need instant threat on mistress, i will just start off by hitting the boss a couple times filling up my rage bar. From there i will ff mangle and keep a stack of lacerates on the boss but i never let my rage go below 50, once adds are up its quite simple spam swipe for the initail threat then mangle. At this point you're getting hit so ooc is usless.

OoC is a talent all druids regardless of spec should grab
it can proc off all spells, auto attacks, and off mauls
