I just get sarcastic and #$%^y when people don't tip me for something they obviously should have.

Whenever I craft something for someone, and they don't tip, I just leave the item in the Trade Box, and say "What, no tip?". I've yet to have someone not tip after lol
You sir is an ^&*!@#$. If you expect a tip it is not more a tip but a fee. And if you dont declare your fee before crafting something, you are an #$%^&*!.
Me I alway link my trade skill with how much I want for the craft. " LFW. Your mats + 15g fee".

this reminds me of those museums that have mandatory minimum donation boxes. "i thought we could see the exhibit for free?" "of course! there's just a minimum you have to donate..."

The thing about a TIP is it is OPTIONAL, u dont require a tip.
As soon as ypu ask for money it is no longer a tip and has become a FEE. This is just simple english tbh and if you require a FEE for your services you should state it before you craft the item

There's a difference between reminding someone that they're being quite rude not to tip, and requiring one.
I won't require one of someone, but if I hearth to Dal to craft you something right now because you need it in a hurry.... than a tip is kinda expected.

Ditto.
LFW implies that you are looking for commissions.
I now agree ahead of time what a 'fair charge' is for the service, it depends on the cost of the mats, how many of the mats they have, if the service has a CD, or how rare the recipe is.
It also depends if they come to me or want me to go to them.

LFW do not implies that you are looking for a commissions. Many people are LFW and are still leveling their profession so they will do it for free if you supply mats.
So if you do not ask before the craft for a set amount of gold, dont expect any form of money.

Fine, LFW with max skill implies that I'm looking for commissions.
But still, I would argue that LFW implies I'm looking for commissions, and otherwise I would advertise that I will do them for free, as do most people that will do combines for free.
That's why you see people say "Enchanting LFW, free with your mats", but rarely see people say "Enchanting LFW, X gold per enchant with your mats".
Doing them for free is the exception, not the rule. Arguing otherwise is trying to get people to do work for you for free so you can profit.
