I want a square mini map addon

I've looked around Curse and WoW Interface and I've seen a handful of addons that will make my minimap square. It would take a while to try all of them, and while I do plan to try a few of them, I was hoping to get your opinion's on where to start.

My needs are:
- Low system resources. I don't want a sloppily designed addon.
- It's really just for looks, so I would prefer one that didn't have 50 other features.
- I'd also prefer one that is up to date and still updated, but I'll take whatever I can get.

SimpleMinimap. Has very basic features (move, scale, skin) and uses very few system resources.

I used to use simpleMinimap, but I have since changed to Chinchilla. I found it cleaner and way, way easier to configure.

Yeah, I was looking at SimpleMinimap and it did seem to be a bit old (latest update was a year ago). However, I appreciate your opinions! I'll try out Chinchilla as soon as I get off work.

Not sure what site you download your addons from, but SimpleMinimap was updated less than a month ago on WowAce.

Thanks for the tip. When I try it, I'll make sure to get it from there and not from Curse.

Yeah. If it's an Ace add-on, use WAU or the files.wowace.com site, for sure. No reason to wait for them to remember to update the mod sites. Get it as they post it! :)
