With the current level of gear in WotLK thus far, I'm thinking about changing my holy spec up a bit and would like a few opinons.
This is my current holy spec.

I essentially stuck with the classic cookie cutter spec, but in favor of Improved Blessing of Wisdom, I only put one point into Improved Lay On Hands. In the Ret tree, I choose Improved Judgements for soloing instead of Blessing of Might for raid utility, since we have an abundance of rets in our guild anyway. I liked having points in Pursuit of Justice because it helped me get out of fires and such more quickly and to close the distance between the tank and I if someone gets feared/tail swiped/knockback etc. At that point I just Divine Favor/Holy Shock/Instant FoL myself since Beacon of Light has 20 yards more range then my heals, yeah it's a bunch of overheal, but it's a bunch of spatulas I don't have to buy to pick up dead guildies either.
I also have a Tears of the Vanquished trinket handy for hard modes, which I swap out my Eye of the Broodmother for. I would prefer to get my claws on Solace of the Fallen before 3.3, but the odds of that happening are like my odds for getting a better mace. :(
This is the spec I am considering, with
three points unallocated
.

That is essentially the cookie cutter "hard mode spec" that involves the use of Divine Sacrifice. The three points are left unused because I am flustered over whether to put them into either Improved Devotion Aura (+ 6% healing) or Benediction (6% mana cost reduction for Judgement and Holy Shock). I would think Improved Devotion Aura but I'm worried about just getting more overheals, unless someone is trying to do the FoL spec of just stacking spellpower.
Where would I best distribute the remaining points and any other suggestions you guys might want to make?

Both specs more or less look fine.
2/2 Imp. LoH is pretty awesome now that it's a mini targeted shield wall, though. I'd take a point out of Imp BoW for it in both builds. Also take points out of Toughness for Imp RF.

Wouldn't I risk pulling agro near the beginning of an encounter from healing the tank? This leads to another question.
How is healing threat calculated? Does Beacon of Light heals add to threat?
Edit:
Wouldn't this be really dangerous during an add phase like when Anuba'rak burrows?
Helps to read the rest of filipz post...

You won't pull aggro off your tank at the beginning unless they ramp up threat slow and take so much damage you're spamming Holy Light. If you're super worried about it, have another healer throw a shield or a HoT on and just don't heal anything for the first few seconds.

Or dont turn it on until you have a free gcd during the fight.
