I don't mind spot healing, but I don't really like main healing. But I was wondering if Holy/Disc priests DPS can even compare to Spriests. Or should I just be a Spriest and basically forget healing. How good of a damage output do they have? Any good talent build help? Any help at all for my question? Any (serious) replies are greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)

A well geared shadow priest can get within the top 5 on the damage meters. And let's not forget the mana regen...

I wouldn't recommend specializing holy/disc for damage, especially if you are not interested in healing. Shadow Priests offer great damage and provide even better group utility by increasing spell casters damage and restoring mana to their group.
It's all about finding a play style that you enjoy, so play around with a few different builds and see what works best for you.

If you want to "ZOMGDPSLAZERBEAMZ" just go Spriest.
I want to DPS, but also be able to off-heal.

I've tried holy nuker on my priest before. It's ok, works pretty well with a paladin actually, but it's not as much damage as a shadow priest I found.

What setting are you looking to DPS & off-heal in? There really isn't a position where you can do both at the same, however don't forget that all of your +spell damage gear is also +'healing, so if you got into a pinch and needed to throw out some heals you'd be capable of doing so.

Just PvP in general, world pvp, arenas, bg, etc.

You can do fairly well with smite and holy fire spec. Especially if you stack +crit it can get pretty devastating once your gear gets up there. It's not good for raiding, kind of like fat-owl at the moment but in BGs, farming and even some arena situations you'll do better than expected.
