Ok so I'm mainly holy and I heal (with others of course) my guild's ToC 25s and such. Our usual tanks are a warrior and a pali so i decided to try tanking out on the pali a bit. I have read all the "useful threads" and such nonstop, and kept myself updated on all the latest changes for the prot paladin.
Take this build for example,
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#sZV0tAbuMusIufdxf0hbc:pGZVcm
Now my question is this, how much would it hurt to take one point out of Conviction and place it into Seal of Command.
I know that the DoT seal is the seal of choice for a tank, but, for a starting tank wouldn't the semi-cleave damage help with keeping aggro on trash mobs in a heroic dungeon.
My gear isn't the greatest of course because i focus on Holy more, and so I figure I won't be able to hold the best of aggro against better DPS.
So would that one point less in Conviction hurt enough to matter?
And would Seal of Command be useful against Heroic dungeon trash mob pulls?
(Still hoping the links work.)

Keep in mind with Hammer of the Righteous you are applying your DoT seal onto three mobs at once. With intelligent tab targeting its fully possible to keep a 5 stack of this DoT on an entire crowd of mobs. Combine this ability with our consecrate, reflective damage, Avengers Shield and two taunts and holding mobs in any situation isnt even remotely an issue.
Considering all that, why waste a talent point to gain a seal that in truth we really just plain don't need? Probably there are situations in which it might be handy but the trade off typically isnt worth it.

Okay i see what your saying. I'm noob to Pali tanking and haven't actually tanked anything yet so i wasn't aware that the Hammer of the Righteous applied the Blood Corruption to all of it's targets as well. I see how it's basically useless with that.
Thanks for the reply =D

Theres a few ppl that use SoC, but i follow what Arigise is saying...and besides...if someone getting aggro, they should obviously should stop dpsing LOL. You dont really need points on crusade, as a tank, your just there to hold a mob in place, your RIgh. Fury and Seal of Corruption does the help to do holy damage to multiple targets.
DERP!

Thanks for all the feedback guys.
@Harmacy: Sorry, that isn't actually my spec or glyphs or anything, I just linked that one to give you a visual of both talents on the same page so anyone wanting to answer the question wouldn't have to look them up. But thank you for all the positive feedback, and sorry I didn't specify that that build wasn't actually mine lol.
(Btw, i tanked about 5-6 heroics today and the seal of corr. worked wonderful =D)
Thanks again all.
