I have a question regarding dungeon quests.
Read on Wowhead today about Scarlet Monastery being updated, with quest givers inside the entrance to the instance, and I also hear the same for Dire Maul East.
With Ragefire Chasm for example, you get quests from Thunder Bluff, Undercity and Orgrimmar. That is quite a bit of travelling for a low level character.
Have Blizzard made these changes to all or some existing dungeons? And have they implemented quest givers inside the new dungeons, or do you also collect them while questing in zones as usual?
Garenzo, I also want to thank you. You have been very instrumental in supplying us Cata info :)
You're welcome! As for the question,
They're fixing this bigtime by putting all quest givers at the start (except for some breadcrumb quests to actually visit the questgivers inside) of every instance apparently. (like the others said) Think I've seen it in RFC, RFK, DM, SM as well as Strat and Scholo so far.
@Haimdall: Can't see why RFD would get removed.
Q: are there RP servers in Beta?
Nope. Would be cool and all since I'm on an RP server on live but since beta is purely for testing the new stuff I don't think they want us to do things like that on it. :-P
Wow, lots of typos...

Hello Uldum... Please? :-)
Pretty please.
A question: Are the Therazane faction daily quests already implemented? if so, what they consist of?

They are implemented, but in all honesty I can't remember them at all right now... It's pretty similar to Isle of Quel'danas (spelling?) I suppose, but fewer quests in this one so far IIRC. Very nice looking quest hub that I won't spoil to anyone though. I will check them at some point when servers are up if no one else does.
@Grazy: Nope, no faction quartermasters are in yet. The head enchants for each of them have been posted somewhere though I believe... will have to look 'em up.
Here are the enchants for Grazy's question.
Reputation Enchantments - Head
* Cataclysm Reputation Earthern Ring Revered Tank Enchant - Permanently adds 90 Stamina and 35 dodge rating to a head slot item.
* Cataclysm Reputation Guardian of Hyjal Revered Caster Enchant - Permanently adds 60 Intellect and 35 critical strike rating to a head slot item.
* Cataclysm Reputation Dragonmaw/Wildhammer Revered Strength Enchant - Permanently adds 60 Strength and 35 mastery strike rating to a head slot item.
* Cataclysm Reputation Ramkahen Revered Agility Enchant - Permanently adds 60 Agility and 35 haste rating to a head slot item.
Damn... no Uldum I guess. :-(

Q: Will thrall get doomhammer's plate back since in his new model he isnt wearing it? or does he at least mention that its nearby that he just cant wear it atm or something? and why does he look so old? is it from the strain of stabilizing the earth pillar?
I said it twice in the Thrall model thread. He's been wearing a robe ever since beta started because he's joined the Earthen Ring to help restore the world.
He might use the Doomhammer as a weapon at some point but sort of doubt it... so far he hasn't done anything that involves fighting.

Can anyone testing a mage tell me whether the new targetted version of Blast Wave still has a knockback? It doesn't say so in the tooltip, and it was one of the primary reasons I wanted to play a fire mage in the expansion (that and flame orb+blazing speed). Cheers.

What is going to be Cataclysm's main city?
Like Orgrimmar in Vanilla, Shattrat in TBC, Dalaran in WotLK. Hope you know what I mean. : P
Orgrimmar and Stormwind I suppose. They're going back to not using a neutral capital to boost the feeling of tension between the factions.

So Garenzo, can you go to Archimonde's Vengeance and check if it is still a giant hole in the ground

Just logged in to check the Worgen tree in Darnassus (still no NPCs in it if anyone happens to be wondering) so sure, on my way!
The crater's gone. Although the entire zone appears to be severely bugged in this build, there are strange patches of water all over and mobs of the wrong size. Found an ancient that was as small as a night elf and partly stuck underground, and a
freakishly big Deathwing
...
Think they're planning to make the crated phasing-related though... there was a small fiery area in the middle of where it used to be - could be where Geddon is going to emerge when you get to the quests?

Well, Deathwing is supposed to be HUGE, he was the biggest of the Dragon Aspects. And it is strange, the map still show the crater but they could change it is the same way the did with the Gilneas map and the Lost Isle map.

I agree on the size part actually, just surprised that he was so big that his face covered my entire screen when he spawned considering he isn't that much bigger than the other dragons in other zones. :-) I would love if they decided to go down this path and make him insanely big. Maybe his eventual boss fight could play out a bit like Kologarn...
As for Archimonde's Vengeance... still pretty sure it's a phasing thing they're implementing. Sounds pretty reasonable to me that the area starts out as a little patch of fire and explodes into a full-blown crater when Geddon shows up. Don't forget that our dear baron likes blowing things up. :-P

Yeah, we will have wait and see. I supposed that, as it was called Archimonde's Vengeance, the crater was created by him during the Battle of Mount Hyjal but whatever.

Yup, I hear a lot of people talk about Aimed oneshotting mobs while leveling. (my hunter lost the skill and is unable to get it back even when I respec... they might have fixed that in this patch though) They've basically reverted it back to how it was in vanilla. (like a longer steady shot, kinda) I can see a lot of synergy with Aimed and the new Camouflage skill...

I read lot's about aimed shot and it seems like it's going to be our openner while leveling as marks... Currently at lvl 10 the mobs have 180-210 health and my normal shots hit for 40-60
One aimed shot and an auto shot followed right after would 1 shot the mob. Is that how it is in the beat atm?
I recently made a Worgan Hunter in Full BoA's the mobs have around 200 hp and I'd crit for 540 at level 11. I 1-shot even If I don't crit.
