I noticed that a long time ago, but never paid it much attention, since pretty much the whole zul'drak zone felt pretty disconected from the rest of the expansion. Dunno why but I didn't really felt it "click" with the rest.
I like how minor characters slowly are advancing in rank as the expansions fly by. I mean, Gryan Stoutmantle went from a simple corporal on vanilla, to Captain on WOTLK, and then Marshal on CATA.
And now, I've noticed that Nazgrim went from a simple sargeant on conquest hold on WOTLK, to Leggionaire on CATA, and now General on MoP.
I wonder if other minor characters will continue to get promoted. The same thing happened to another horde NPC (and one of the few who actually gave a FUN quest in vanilla) I'm talking about Torek of course, and his AWESOME quest to assault a silverwing outpost and take it for the horde.
This guy was later promoted to Blood Guard during the pre-cata event.
I wanna see more minor characters slowly climb to prominence. =( sadly the girls get no love by blizzard.
Liandrin, Zaela, Aponi, all of them are doomed to obscurity, and now the only last good female protagonist (jaina) they are actually planning to give her the "sylvannas treatment" complete with white-hair symbolism, and agressive revenge-ridden personality to boot.
/sighs.
BTW:
=/ Blizz is running out of creativity for the names.

Man you're late for that lol. I remember at blizzcon 2011 Jesse Cox asked chris metzen about it at the lore Q and A :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dDcIqHlvy0
Apparently, it's nothing but the designers having fun.
/shrug I only ever read the transcripts of the Lore Q&A's, and well...not a fan of Cox, so wouldn't have been paying attention anyways.

Ouch.
Eh, it's mainly for the Bovine people; there's only so many punny names you can use.

see, this is why I don't like it when they recycle dungeons. They bring back people without even the slightest explanation of WHY are they still alive.
ZG was remade, and ok, they replaced all the bosses, and it was the most fun dungeon on cata (Minus Jin'do, they really f*bleep*ked up there, big time). Nobody was brought back, it was other members of the gurubashi who wanted to reclaim their lands. And while mandokir was back, there was a long and elaborate quest to explain it.
(Again, Jin'do was a screw up, not only he's the most un-fun boss in the entire game, there is no explanation of why he's still alive)
but then we get ZA, and without any explanation, ALL the bosses are alive again, without a single hitch.
Now, we're getting the scarlet monastery remade, and while I love the scarlet crusade (and by that I mean, I love killing them, they are my favorite villains ever, and its very cathartic to squash them like watermelons) we get new bosses, yet out of the clear blue, Whitemane is still alive, with no explanation at all of WHY is she still alive.
Plus, neither that crazed crusader for the alliance version, nor Dominic or the Dark Ranger on the horde version are anywere to be seen.

Are they going to add any explanation as to why has it been missing for the past 10 years? or they'll just go with "she was hiding behind the big one"?

I'd rather they didn't change it again; I enjoy the quests in the Stocks for Hogger and the rest.
Also, can we give the 'villain' crap a rest for a couple of days please?

No, Garrosh has been confirmed as the end boss; we don't know
what
is driving the villain ball picking up, so until that point, stop with the 'Villainy in the Horde lands' comments.
If you read the quests, the Alliance forces seem to be acting off only specific information and guesses.
