I've just finished reading Ledgends Volume 3, and have one thing to say: I don't think Hemet Nesingwary has been anymore awsome then he was in that.
EDIT: And the
pumpkin
refference at the end of the tale of hatred one - or whatever, the one with the blood elf, Forsaken, and Scarlet Crusade - was hilarious.
Aye, Hemet was awsome in that story, shows he's just not as crazed as everyone thinks, like all those hunters in The Tundra.
Yeah, you wouldn't think it from the quests he give you. I'm just wondering when, exactly, that takes place.

So, for the first part of the article, where I go over the original Idea...
I re-read what I had thought up, and realized there are quite a few flaws with it. So, instead of going essentially verbatim with that, I'm going to change it a bit to be more plausible.
Once I finish the outline, I'll post some of the points for a few of the scenarios here. (Leaving the one on the Pandaren and Doomhammer living through Hammerfall as a surprise. :D)
Also, I decided to change up the first article a bit.
It's going to be:
Original Idea - "Fel Alliance" - Partial credit to Adamsm, Delterius, CourageWolf, and rufusdoggy for helping refine the original idea
Doomhammer lives through Hammerfall
Grom refuses the Blood of Mannoroth - Thanks to chase123
Tiffin lives through the Stormwind Riots - Thanks to Girlcaster
The Pandaren never left Kalimdor
Waiting to write the one on Medivh living through the First War until the Third Article, and after I finish The Last Guardian. I may bump it up to the second article if I read that before DotD.
By the way, I will give anyone credit (in the article itself) who gives me an idea that I use.

So I've been doing quests in Stranglethorn Vale and I've become interested in the troll legends:
1
,
2
,
3
, and
4
.
I just wondered whether other people had noticed these - it's an Alliance quest, and I hadn't done it until now.
I did think they were quite interesting, though.
The Stone of the Tides
is another book that supplements the legends.

So, how did the raptors spread across both Kalimdor, Eastern Kingdoms, Outland and Northrend?

Well Adamsm, consider that for the Azeroth continents, they were all together at some point.
As for Outlands, I can't be too sure.

Yes, but how did they all spread out from Un'goro crater to the rest of the world? I mean, we don't see the rest of the dinosaur zoo from there everywhere else?

Like I said, the continents were previously together. They were probably in multiple places when the Sundering occurred.
Un'goro, with it's habitat (and Stranglethorn as well), were some of the areas where the raptors had settled in larger groups.

As for
Outlands,
I can't be too sure.
Considering Stranglethorn Vale's close proximity to the Blasted Lands, I wouldn't be surprised if some raptors were taken from Azeroth to Draenor during the First or Second Wars. I wouldn't be surprised if they were either corrupted by the land itself or by demonic corruption to look like they do in Outland. Basilisks and Wind Serpents likely have a similar story.
What I'm not sure of is how Wolves came about on both planets. That's the only species that I know of that absolutely did not come to be on both planets by bringing them through the Dark Portal, as they existed on Azeroth before the Sundering, and existed on Draenor before the Horde was formed.
