Bombings at the Boston Marathon today. Many injured, some presumed dead at this point. Please keep them in your thoughts/prayers/whatever.

Indeed.
BTW, this comment on the main news website in venezuela really made my day (and its both as sad, as it is depressing, as it is funny)
A guy who called mentally challenged kids retards, talks to birds and dead people, placed a curse on Venezuelans, believes half the country are evil bourgeoisie, doesn’t know various states or geography of Venezuela, sings Cuban national anthem and whose only qualification is being a bus driver, is now the president of one of the richest oil countries of the world.
God help us all.

Hey Benzine, I want you to see a few DVDs I have, which are sermons about Biblical accuracy of various denominations of Christianity, which I consider to be extremely educational for Christians. Would you be willing to watch them if I mailed them to you, and you be willing to give me your address? If so, yourtie@live.com

Yep. And wanna know the funny part? The Chavists ARE ANGRY at the results, because Maduro dind't won by a landslide as they wanted, the difference in votes was of less than 1%, he really nearly lost. So now they're upset that they won by such a narrow margin, and several in the opposition are demanding a recount.
As an old venezuelan saying goes: "Van pal cielo y van llorando" (Roughly translated as: They're going to heaven and they're still complaining)

Obviously to anyone in Boston stay safe! Just been reading up about it; don't go on anything with images as a lot of the images contain potentially triggering material, so ofc be careful about that, too.
Back to writing essays.

MyTie, I've seen so many of those videos I've lost count. To be honest, I'd rather not (especially if they bash on my religion the whole time. Most videos of that sort tend to do so).
Rank, that's terrible. So close =/
At least it means that there's going to be a lot more opposition towards him during his term (I almost wrote reign. It felt appropriate).

The videos are more about examining Biblical passages, and addressing common inaccurate practices, not really "targeting" any religion, though some various ones are mentioned, not any one religion in particular. It's more about education than it is conversion.
I'd return the favor, if it mattered at all.

So, my son watched some more twilight today. And, I don't really care about it too much, but one very minor character did catch my intrigue, as I glanced at the screen between my crocheting. So, I did some more looking online, and found out that deep down, in the very heart of twilight, there is a really really good love story, that has nothing to do with Edward and Bella. They should have made the movies about
him
and his love.

I live right outside Boston. My best friend is actually part of the security since his military base is 20 minutes away. He says the arrested a "Saudi Arabian National" as a suspect.

I wonder how long before people start saying the government is behind it to keep us in the mid east longer, or some other such #$%^.

US government is behind it all to keep us in the middle east, and oil, and W Bush, and muslim bigotry, and Merica, and Gitmo, and homosexuals.
Edit: Dang. I dumped a beer into my keyboard. I wonder which keys will stop working over the next couple of days.

My computer is doing silly things all on its own. Can computers become possessed?
It can also be argued that DNA is nothing more than a program designed to preserve itself. Life has become more complex in the overwhelming sea of information. And life, when organized into species, relies upon genes to be its memory system. So man is an individual only because of his own undefinable memory. But memory cannot be defined, yet it defines mankind. The advent of computers and the subsequent accumulation of incalculable data has given rise to a new system of memory and thought, parallel to your own. Humanity has underestimated the consequences of computerization.
