Re: all the FF7 stuff lately

Just re-did the ending of FF7 so I could actually get to see Omnislash, took me like 45 minutes to finish the game from the last save point for 5 seconds of 15 year old animation, but damn it was worth it!
Yup, and the only time you see blood on a character rather then sprayed all over the walls or ceilings.

I'd already seen the blood, but I equipped Cloud with a Counter Attack which ruined the staged fight. He used CA before he used Omnislash. I'm glad I redid it, Omnislash was amazing to watch. Gonna go back and redo it again, but get to at least level 90 and buy Omnislash from the gold saucer and use it to beat Ruby and Emerald weapon.

Heh; well, you'll need the Underwater Breathing Material for Emerald. As for Ruby; even at 99 he's still a massive pain in the ass to beat; he's the only thing in that game I've still never beaten.

That feeling when I'm actually going to do something not related to swimming for the first Sunday in 17 weeks (a few friends wanted to go see The Avengers, so what the heck), and my coach texts me saying I'm going to help some 14-year scrub qualify for the Swedish Junior Championships. Well, @#$%
You don't consider it nice and an honor to mentor someone? :(
Of course I do, but
seventeen weeks
. Over those weeks, I've had over 160 practice sessions and multiple all-weekend competitions. I'd be happy to mentor "rising stars" on any other day, but even I need a break once in a while
=/
Just on Sundays for 17-weeks? If not, that's just how I read it... and of course, everyone deserves breaks. I suppose you're not swimming because you enjoy it then? :P
I can imagine, even if you're just doing it for fun or competitively, it would get exhausting. I was on a swim team for awhile in high school and I recall that being exhausting... though I did love it. I don't get to swim nearly enough these days.
Nah, not just Sundays. All days. On paper, though, Sundays are supposed to be off-days, but they haven't been for 17 weeks, which is why I was so happy when I woke up thinking I'd have an off-day, and so mad when it turned out I wouldn't
:p
Sure, I enjoy swimming - competing, at least. I hate training with a passion, but it is what they call a necessary evil; without practice there is no winning competitions, which is what I live for, more or less.
Cool! I don't recall there being many other swimmers or ex-swimmers around here, good to have at least one
fellow maniac
around! What were you, the freestyle kind of guy? Most people I talk to seem to be

I believe freestyle, yes. Various distances. I remember 100-meter being quite common. I also vaguely recall doing individual medleys.
Edit: Btw, I'm 89 now on the beta so going to sleep, will check back in later. Have a good day all. Happy Mothers Day!
