Lies, you haven't been sane since I've known you.

Argh, that's rough Elhonna. For some reason my sleeping schedule has been really good recently - my grandmother says that getting sun helps regulate it?
Oh, it's a shame Laibach hasn't done a cover of Sweden's anthem... They make any anthem sound brilliant.

I sit in the sun all day- my desk is right up against a window. But I've been an insomniac for years- I just didn't have anything to take for it last night, and so I didn't sleep.

I feel down today. Probably cuz I only got 3 hours of sleep, but ugh..

I get some of those days too. Nothing cheers you up?

I feel like... I don't understand who I am right now. What I am.
But I dunno. I've had a lot to think about recently.

The words inside me are usually deeper than the ones coming out.
Not that it's hard to beat what I usually type lol.

And aaaaaaaaaaw. That's like the other weekend when it hit me just how insignificant our lives are and I was super depressed. I'm still sitting under that cloud. >.>

When I get depressed, my deep poetic side comes out for some reason.

Your existence is only insignificant if you don't leave a mark on your loved ones.

THAT'S SUPPOSED TO BE OUR THING.
Your existence is only insignificant if you don't leave a mark on your loved ones.
Not when they'll be dead within a hundred years, too. :|

Dying happy is insignificant?
Essentially, yes. :P My whole depressed thoughts were... well, no one's even going to
try
and remember us in a century's time, most likely. >.>

Might as well have fun if nobody will remember you anyway, right?

Remembering us and feeling our effects are two different things. People have an effect on many, many people that they don't even realize. Your daily attitudes, the way you treat people, the model you set for kids who know you, the things you talk about and defend- all of that becomes part of the people around you, to one extent or another.
The reason that groups of people- nations, communities, families- have a culture, and traditions, and morality that is passed on from one generation to the next is that the actions of the people in the past affected the people they knew, which then affected the people those people knew, and so on. If you make a positive impact on the people around you, it doesn't just affect them and end there- it affects who they are and who they become, and how they affect other people, which in turn affects how those people treat others. So even if people don't know your name, or who you were, if you taught your kids, or your friends kids, or the people around you something good, or even just made the world a brighter place for them, allowing them to be more positive in other people's lives, what you did and who you are will still matter long after you're gone.
