Awww- poor thing.
I don't remember how I was as a child, but when my mother helped me move in to my dorm my first semester in college, SHE actually cried all the way home that night (2-3 hour car ride). I made some friends and went to a baseball game.

trust me I chocked up a little on the inside too. But this is a very necessary step in every child's life. They need to know as early as possible that mommy and daddy wont be there forever, and they need to get used to spending some time away from them.
Its not really healthy to hog the child's time 100%, cuz when you're gone, they're left as a really messed up.............. mess. (redundancy aside)
Doesn't mean either the child or the parent has to like it though, since separations (even necessary ones) tend to hurt like crap the first time U_U

You should talk to my mother, because she doesn't think ANY separations are necessary. I am 30 years old, and my fiancee and I are thinking about moving out of state once we're ready to buy a house, because you can get the same house with more property for half the price if you leave the Island. She's upset because she doesn't want us to leave, even though it's virtually impossible to buy a house in our area for anything reasonable. Heck- she got upset when I moved to my apartment an hour away from her. Her ideal would be for everyone in the family to just live on the same property.

heh, she'd love to live in venezuela then xD.
Property price is so bloody expensive over here, its actually pretty common to have up to 4 generations living under the same roof.
me and my parents lived at my grandpa's home till I was seven (and my parents were in their mid 30's)
And after I got married, I lived at my parent's home till barely 4 years ago that I got this apartment (and only reason I got it somewhat cheap-ish was because someone was stabbed here :S)
Its quite common here to see many homes where grandpas, parents, children, and grandchildren live all under the same roof.
And no, I disagree with your mom, part of being a parent is knowing when to let go, you need to give your kids some degree of independance (gradually, giving too much too soon can also be bad) as they grow older, and gradually make them used to the idea that you won't be there forever.
Smothering the kids with too much attention isn't a good thing.

Well Maplestory is a korean grind mmo, well, it was. They have totally ruin everything that I like about that game. It feels weird being 15 years old and already have something you feel nostalgic about being ruined.

Lineage II was (and still is) a korean MMO grindfest, and while I used to LOVE that game, I no longer play it.
I guess there comes a point where doing the same activity over and over gets boring. Its the same reason why while I still play wow, I do so more sporadically now.

To be fair I did like the combat...a bit. I disliked Dexterity so much though.

My dad almost started to cry when was moving out, and that made me cry, and then we just sat there holding each other for an hour. I'll never forget how close I felt to him that moment even though I was moving to a new state.
Hat, I'm sending a sample of what I'm doing to you right now. It's kind of complicated to explain but you're smart :)

Used to love Maplestory but then they decided to change the game, removed things I used to love, LPQ gone, KPQ gone, the endless hours of grinding? Gone, the game was at its best a couple of years ago, now it has gone to total waste.

Patient you must be my young padawan. In good time, all things come.
(After I finish paying my new PC, the first goal I got is joining SWTOR ASAP.)

@ Rank- The time of me being a Padawan is over. My whole guild finished their republic toons and started leveling Empire. We're all Sith/Agents/Bounty Hunters now.
Which kind of sucks, because I really liked my trooper, but I'm having fun on my agent.
And regardless, in a few days I'll drop off the face of SWTOR and save a different galaxy a few times.
