You mean immigration programs?
Obviously not: I meant contraceptive programs. If you hold that the reason for increased teen pregnancy rates are social rather than inherent (in other words, you don't ascribe to racial theory), then they will respond just as readily to programs which elucidate the various forms of prophylaxis. I found
this report
which said that teen pregnancy rates for white teens was 27.5 - roughly equivalent to the overall rate in the UK, which has the highest rate in Europe.
Three studies linked in the
references
of the article I posted found that those exposed to abstinence only education were less likely to use contraception during their first sexual experience and none found they were less likely to have sex before marriage.
Oh and from
wiki
:
An inverse correlation has been noted between teen pregnancy rates and the quality of education in a state.
Given that Ron Paul wants to revoke the ruling of Roe v. Wade and leave it up to states to decide whether to ban abortion or not, you'd think he'd be more active in finding alternative ways to prevent teen pregnancy. Or perhaps he preferred teen mothers while working as a obstetrician?

Haha I died and got a blue copper pickaxe.
Not a good idea to start out Mediumcore.
Eh, oh well. I want a challenge :P
... Alright, I'm too careless to do that I guess, lol.
Anyway, how do you go about making a better woodcutting axe?

Iron axe is the next step. Just go mine some new metals.
Also, trust me. Start out Softcore or you're going to quit when you do something too big, die, then lose all your items.

Seems doubtful, but give it a try.

Yeah, my brother told me they gave him a item back when he bid the wrong item, but i wanted to ask here first too.
Also, 2 hours wait time, finally i'm going to get a quick reply.

Insurance is not a free market principle.
With insurance, social costs of illness are shared (one's insurance pays for the cost of another's treatment). The difference is that the profit is privatised in the hands of the insurers rather than the doctors and patients.
The real free market principle would be to let each individual bear the costs of their own illness, but that'd limit the ability of insurers to profit and would have hideous effects on the lives of most people under such a system.

Abortion doesn't prevent pregnancy any more than infanticide does.
