Personalized Google search is teh sex. When I type "gothic", the first link always leads to the local fansite that I like to visit. No unrelated crap with "gothic" in it's name. Heck, when I type "vault" it points me to the fallout fansite that I go to.

I want to play Minecraft Aether with a couple of people, it has dungeons like oldschool WoW!

If you have a google account and you are logged in, Google automatically adjusts the search results in a way that you are usually likely to find exactly what you want to find. It basically makes something like a profile of you based on the pages you go to when searching. Not sure how much advanced it is, but I know a fair amount of students on the school I work at are working on perfecting this system.
It doesn't mean that if you would be a huge fan of golden crowns, you wouldn't be able to find info about crowns as a currency. It would just probably be on the bottom of Page 1, or on a later page, after all the crowns that are actually your favorite.

That may not always be a good thing, though.

Sounds very scary when put that way, but I am fairly satisfied with the searching as it works now. What I do find somewhat weird is the news sites doing personalization. I do not mind when Google learns what I tend to look for when I look for things, and so far it has not happened to me that I was looking for something on Google and it would fail me (no I do not tend to look for aliens or dirty secrets on obscure random people on Google).

If you really don't want those sites to personalize for you, you can use this
extension
to disable 3rd party tracking or even Yahoo. It will initially block Google from doing so but you can easily allow Google through with just a click.

Well, I do not browse news sites anyway (except for GameBanshee. Which only posts news about RPG's. It can hardly be more personalized than that lol.). Just found it weird.

Ah, Jubilee. Wanted to tell you that Death Knights probably
steel
they skin, rather than
steal
.

Although that'd be pretty hilarious seeing a Death Knight stealing their skin.
