I can't believe you just heard about it Queggy, there has been huge hype about it for ages. I was very unhappy when I heard it wasn't about Ang the Air-bender

I scored in the top 10% (Or was it 5%? I can't remember right now . . .) on my ACT.

There's this huge void in Laihendi's life now that marching band is over. The sad thing is that college marching band is stupid because you just do dumb shows where you make formations of your school's mascot and play fight songs... or something lame and blatantly inartistic like that. So, the only way you can be in a marching band that performs anything with substance is by doing DCI, which requires you to basically lose your life and put yourself through extreme physical pain... every day, for 12+ hours a day, for about 3 or 4 months... and then one weekend a month until the next summer.
So Laihendi does well enough in a competitive high school band, but being a scrawny semi-vegetarian, he obviously as a long ways to go before he'd ever be ready to march tuba in DCI, and the fact that it costs thousands of dollars per year doesn't help. So maybe the summer after next he'll try it out if everything goes well, and he can get in good physical shape by then.

Haven't taken it yet, don't care quite as much at this moment. (Plus, this is the one which deals with scholarships to a far greater degree.)

The PSAT? I would imagine that the colleges care more about the actual SAT or ACT . . .

But you play flute, so the world will never take you seriously.
