Just stepped into ICC first time a few days ago and I noticed the dodge debuff we got. I'm wondering if I should put on my dodge trinks help or should I just keep on the stam trinks?
Also, I'm wondering why they decided to put this debuff on us?

To help try and make smaller, faster hits from bosses.
Rather than the gigantic monster hits so that healers have to mindlessly spam big heals all day....
I believe that was the idea behind it...
or...
it could be that they wanted to make it so tanks dont just breeze through it....
Either way.... its here to stay.

Yep, dodge/avoidance got out of hand with all the heroic mode iLvl gear so they nerfed it in ICC. Just go stamina in there and it will work out better. While healing in there I've noticed it is definitely a lot less bursty and not so frantic on the tanks. From a healer's perspective, I like it a lot. That will be the norm in the next expansion as well.

Continue gearing as you would if the radiance didn't exist.
The entire purpose behind it is actually a benefit, not a nerf. Tank avoidance and EH got out of hand, enough so that for Blizzard to make bosses a challenge for tanks/healers they had to hit like mac trucks. So in ToC/ToGC it got to the point where if your tank got hit twice in a row, they were dead. This redefined "spike damage."
Now in ICC on the other hand, due to the avoidance debuff, bosses hit more consistently but they don't hit nearly as hard. This makes incoming tank damage more predictable. Getting hit twice in a row no longer means tank death and healers also don't have to be so paranoid about having a large nuke ready to drop the moment a hit comes in.

I would say to either not change your gear priorities or ask your healers. I have actually traded out my stam trinkets because I have plenty of health for ICC10, and since getting hit consecutive times is much more likely & more survivable I can lay on a little extra avoidance / mitigation.

I'm about 30% dodge right now so I'll give it a world. If your talking about "least" having 20% then I guess yeah I can sacrfice for stamina trinks.Just scary to think that I wont' be seeing much dodge texts flashing on my screen heh
