Days without WoW

I am a Chinese WoW player and today I want to share something about the feeling in the days without WoW.
As you may or may not have heard, the World of Warcraft is currently offline in China, because of a fight between the game's former licensee, The9, and its current licensee, Netease.
So WoW has been offline almost a month since June 7th.At the beginning,it felt like that end of the world comes.People don't know what to do without this great game and also me.WoW forums became disordered and eveyone want to know when we can back to WoW again. Many of them turned to Taiwan realms or ohter games. But I decide to wait for WoW being back online in China. It's really not easy when you suddenly cannot play WoW,imagine one day you can no more do daily quests, raid, pvp, or any other things in the game becaouse the game is completely offline! The only thing I can do is wait, and I find some other PC games to play,I also keep visiting native or foreign WoW sites to get latest news. Now I don't feel so bad as the beginning.Life seems to be less interesting without playing WoW but we can do nothing abut it.
Fortunately, just on July 1st,Battle.net registration now online in China. This mihgt mean that the game will be back online soon.I hope my friends in the game can come back to Azeroth when WoW back to online.
But the version of WoW in China is still The Burning Crusade, what a great misfortune. That means though the game is back we still can only raid the Sunwell and BlackTemple. So we really hope Wrath of the LichKing can be online in China as quickly as possible.
What do you think about that if one day this happenes on you?
This is the first time I post a topic here.Say sorry for my poor English.

Well, this doesn't matter. There are many gold famers in US realms and maybe they bring some trouble to you.I feel sorry about that, any way,I am just a normal player and have never played in US realms.

Does this mean that the 50,000 gold farmers are now unemployed?

I know, just messing with the stereotype. Ni hao.
He was being sarcastic. Just ignore him. Bloody locks. :P
I would probably visit friends. Maybe play console video games, pick up Guitar Hero, things like that.
Ooooooh, and Starcraft II.

If WoW were suddenly shut down, I would turn to another video game. I am already getting bored of WoW, as none of my RL friends play it anymore... I would probably go back to being an FPS junkie. Or maybe go waaaayyy back to da roots and play RTS...
I really don't know, but I would definitely survive.
(On the subject of Gold Farmers, I know more Canadian gold farmers than Chinese Gold farmers... Do I get a cookie?)

Day without world of warcraft. Is the day when get to go outside your basement and breathe the fresh air. Then you suddonly realize the stuff that you have to do that is in pending in real life.
Even though you miss playing wow for the month consider yourself as blizzard doing you a favor.

I would: You left out the most obvious one: move out of china. Take all the tea with you, a lot of people will trade really well for it I hear.

You missed out entire phase from your statement also. I would: Move out of china and sell tea to US wow players for 4.99 a pack.

I was making an "I wouldn't sell/do (blank) for all the tea in china" joke.

Is Chinese tea very popular in U.S?I don't like tea much.
After all,WoW is just a game and if one day it really comes to the end our lives will just go on.But now we are told that it will come back "soon",so I'm waiting for its back.If we are told that WoW will close down forever, maybe I will not feel like this.

That really sucks. I'm not sure what you could do, but I hear Aion will be out soon and it's meant to have a lot of similar features to WoW, but with better PvP. Might want to check it out.
