btw as a rogue, NEVER get crit rating, ever. 22 agililty give you 22 AP, 22crit rating, 44 armor, and dodge, not sure exactly how much dodge. Either way it doesn't matter, only take crit rating when its a given with the weapon, agility is always better for rogues, just agility, for pvp, agility and stam, hit rating is good for PvE and Instances, since you will often be fighting elite, or mobs that or higher then you. There is a significant difrfence in how much you hit per level of a mob compared to a player. Its gets about 10 times harder per level of mob then compared to a player, to hit. Actuallty, between wowwiki.comn and shadowpanhter.net, all your leveling questions and understanding of the mechanics should be answered quite acurately. GL!

Telling people to steer clear of crit rating is completely stupid.

How is that? If you can get a gem for 8 crit rating or 8 agility, to tell someone that crit rating is good is completely stupid. I am just helping him understand how rogue's stat's work.

That's how.
Crit rating is all over plenty of excellent rogue items. It's not a poor stat either.

22 agi does not = 22 crit rating.
22 agi= about... 12.1 crit rating.
Go buy a calculator.

(I mean in PVE)
no need to intensively get crit gears...every thing for rogue levels up your crit.
get "chance to hit" gems, then AP, don't look at crit
Again:
Crit rating is all over plenty of excellent rogue items. It's not a poor stat either.
People need to drop this mentality that crit rating is some bad thing. It's not, especially for PVE. Sure, you don't go out of your way to stack it, but you don't ignore it either. The way attributes are budgeted to items means that crit rating is a far more efficient method of increasing your crit chance than agility.
