My favorite memory is just recently. I got my old high school friend into WoW and we've been traveling together. The triple experience may be great but even better I get to relive my first moments in WoW all over again. She can't figure out how to swim. She's awed by the cities. She wanders off into high level zones and dies. She's exploring how her character works. And while she does all of this I get dozens of laughs and a lighthearted reprieve from the gear obsession that is level 70.

When I was first flying into Stranglethorn Vale on my Troll Mage, I was contemplating on whether or not I should just give up on this character and try a Warlock, despite Warlocks being unable to be Trolls(I try to have all my characters the same awesome race that is Troll). Everyone was talking about how awesome they were so I figured I'd try it out.
Anyways, I'm level 33, thinking Stranglethorn Vale would be a nice place to perch this Mage for a long hiatus, when before I jump down into Grom'Gol's inn from the zeppelin, I see a ? Human Paladin in the distance chasing an Undead Rogue my level into our base.
I somehow think I can distract this (mounted)Paladin from reaching my fellow Horde member and hop down the tower with a well-timed Blink(Wow, first time I did that, actually), then unwittingly dismount the Paladin by casting Polymorph on him. I'm happy that this Paladin didn't get the Rogue, but he quickly casts Divine Shield and starts chasing me instead.
Thankfully, I was out of range from his Hammer of Justice, as my Blink was on cooldown, so I did what every other low-level does out of fear: SWIM! As many of you may know, Stranglethorn Vale is home to one of the deepest areas of water that you can swim safely in without getting fatigue: The Vile Reef.
What many of you may
not
know is that Polymorph used to be bugged: The spell would sink you down to the lowest depths of a body of water if it were cast on you.
I didn't know this at the time, either, but I was using the spell to gain some distance and maybe hearth(Berserking and Hearthstone!) safely home, but I ended up finally getting one off(durned resists) and the Paladin disappeared. I had thought he simply vanished into thin air, and figured I should just hide in the reef below me just in case he just logged out instantly somehow(I was still new, so sue me).
Then I saw him. He was at the bottom of the reef, as confused as I was, but quickly realized how deep he was in the water. I don't think he saw where I was, but I didn't want to let him get back to the surface, so I simply swam further down to meet the Paladin and sheeped him once more. I went up for breath so I myself didn't drown, and was greeted by the surface with an "HK: Knight."
Needless to say, I kept playing my Mage. :)

My favorite moment in WoW would have to be one of our first downs of rage winterchill.5% left on his health bar, about 8 people still up andour MT almost dead I managed to Lay on Hands a split second before getting frostbolted and dying. It kept us alive and we managed to down him. Had to be one of the more epic win moments for our guild.

When I was leveling my first character about 6 months ago I wanted to get the
Arena Grand Master
so I started to collect the 12
Arena Masters
for the quest.
I had many good fights, but one I'll never forget was when I was level 37 with my rogue and an Warlock 70 were there to keep the chest for his twink. I was hidden far in the back of the arena, and the warlock were at the entrance, when the chest spawned I did nothing... the warlock watched it for some seconds and then turned around and were watching the entrance. At this point I used sprint and got to the chest, when it was in the last seconds he saw me but it was late for him, hehehe
At level 44 I was with my
Arena Grand Master
. I still have it in by bank as a trophy.

My favorite moment would have to be the first time that I enter Molten Core. It was amazing to walk in and be greeted by these two Molten Giants. The fights were amazing too. I remember thinking that this was going to be a fun night. The fact that it was kind of a race as well, since the Corehounds were on such a fast spawn timer made it even more intriguing. Now you really don't seem to have that kind of intrigue. You clear trash and it stays clear for at least an hour in most cases. I miss the old days!
