One of my favorite moments of wow was when I was playing my first character, a warlock, and around my mid 30's I finally got a new chest piece only to discover I had been running around the last 5 levels or so without any pants on, lol.

I have a 70 Troll hunter that i leveled to 70, when i got to 70 was my best moment i thought, but then i leveled a human rogue to 70 and have done alot more with him, right now my best moment in WoW is going into SSC for the first time and downing the Lurker with a guild that had never done it before on our third try, to this date that is the most memorable, but i am sure as WOTLK gets closer i will have a few more

My favorite moment on WoW? That would be, of course, when I first started playing.
The suspense was killing me after hours of downloading patches. I didn't own a 'powerful' PC, so it took a while to install it. When I finally got to "play" the game wouldn't go past the Eastern Kingdoms loading screen (which at the time I did not know it was a completely separate server). I wanted to make a human mage but it seemed as if it wouldn't let me make any human/gnome mage so I was only able to make Nightelves or dwarves which I personally don't like, no offense :P (or Horde which at the time didn't seem very attractive). Well, the point is, even when it's not an actual event, it was my favorite moment ever since I play World of Warcraft.
I decided to make a Druid while I waited for what seemed to be a bug to be fixed. Well, I ended up being a 70 Druid :D but my favorite part was that thanks to that "bug" or whatever it was, I met lots of people in Shadowglen, Teldrassil whom I now enjoy playing with often. I guess you could say, what could have been someone else's moment of frustration (and mine for a little while because I still owe myself that 70 mage I wanted) turned out to be an experience that would allow me to meet new people instead of
who-knows-what-kind-of-antisocial-leveling-obsessed-person
I would have turned out to be. After all, the fun part of a MMORPG is the MMO part ^_-. Well, yeah... owning in PvP is lots of fun too :P. Oh, and the funniest thing I ever did with these friends was watch them Mind Control people off the AV bridge... Hilarious!

After one-shotting Onyxia, my guild at the time decided to go take out Lady Sylvanas. Killing her with all the chaos surrounding it was one of the most epic moments I experienced in WoW.

My most memorable period of the game was at level 60 while raiding with my alliance guild. It died out after the expansion and I rerolled horde, we had some good times. But one night one of the most funniest and memorable things happened when the Judgement Chest piece finally dropped from Nefarian after 3 months of killing him.
Our main paladin got so annoyed that it never dropped that he said he would sing Numa Numa on ventrilo if it ever dropped. He dug himself a hole. For weeks we stood by these words and told him that
when it dropped hes was not going to get it until he sings the song. For weeks the whole raid was waiting for that day to come.
One night after killing Nefarian the chest piece finally dropped. The time had come for our Holy paladin from Romania, with a stong accent, to sing Numa Numa.

I suppose that you had to know him a bit to make it funny. You just had to be there!

My favorite moment in my history of WoW.....
My favorite moment in WoW so far was the night my uncle passed away and my guild-mates were there for me when I had no one else..at this time in my life I was kinda in the middle of schools so I really had no friends and they were there to help me through it.. Since then I have become very close friends with those member and we have met numerous times in real life and I feel that we shall stay close friends forever.
Kinda cheesy, but it meant a lot to me.

My favorite moment in WoW? I don't think I can pick one, there are so many moments that I will never forget... Serene moments, Epic moments, Hilarious moments and even depressing moments. Strange to think a game can draw up so many facets of our human existence.
Anyways for my pic I have to say my guilds first Ragnaros kill. Our guild is not a hardcore raiding guild but a group of casual players that love to raid when we can so taking down Rag was huge for us. Being MT for the guild on ym unwavering tauren I remember week after week of wipes just to have it all fall together for a second attempt of the night kill that seemed almost too easy. Everything went perfect. I still remember the jubilation on vent as if it happened moments ago as 40 people cheered in collective disbelief I think. Dragon's Blood Cape thats what I got that night.
To top it off it was our last raid before the guild took a break for Christmas, what a present that was. Driving to upstate New York that night extra late (who could leave a raid like that early just to get on the road on time?) and reliving moments from it with my wife all the way there.

For the first 15 or so levels of my first character, I didn't know you trained new skills and thought there were only talents. Later when I told my friends I was getting my butt kicked by green mobs, they told me I had to train new skills. I was such a nub.

My favorite moment in my WoW career was getting the server first Ragnaros kill, way back in the day. Our guild worked really hard, in direct competition with a few other guilds, and we managed to pull it off.
