Favorite moment in WoW was my first time raiding at lvl 60. . The raid was molten core and it was surprising to see ALL 40 ppl in a mosh pit acting in coordination.
Never used vent till lvl 60 either, was in awe of the leadership and respect our guild had to come together and kick some butt. :)

My favorite moment may just be when I first played. I had never played a game like WOW before. Just those first few days I couldn't stop playing. It was so different and unique that such a new expeirence in a game that I never had before. Then you have moments that make you continue playing, your first instance (SFK), first epic item, first time in MC (was so nervous that I was gonna f up, by the way I did lol and wiped us oh well), walking though the gate into Outland (first time amazing), reaching level 70. So may great moments that's what keeps you coming back for more.

My greatest Moment in wow was the day i started my Dwarf hunter and ran to Stormwind there was the setting to the greatest moment. I saw a Moonkin following a Npc i decided to follow aswell, keeping pace, i realised that all the others NPCs made gestures with the one i was walkin with.We soon entered Stormwind Keep. Many Npc guards moved out the way. I was very excited. the moonkin began to emote with me and it mad it all the more thrilling. Soon we step up to the king of stormwind and his guards. The Npc on your trip began to talk to the lady guard, who didnt seem very happy, our npc showed great thrill and began to cast a spell. I paniced and watched then SHE BECAME A HUGE DRAGON! All of a sudden the guards transformed into dragonmen and attacked us! PVPers came to our rescue i was in a panic and spamming arcane shot whenever it was up. After the battle was over the dragon women was gone! and I watched as the npc i enjoyed the most time with die b4 my eyes. Man it sucked but it was very dramatic. The moonkin told me it would get revenge for me and i still pray to this day that he did.
Thats my favorite moment.

Well I have to say my best moment in wow was when I was in Av on my 70 holy pally pre-av resource nerf and the game was going on its 4th hour. Almost everyone had left the game. Each side had 6 people trying to kill Vann/Drek. We made several attempts to 6 man him but the sad thing was, we were all healers lol. So I stepped up to the plate on our final attempt with RF up and was the tank. I had 15% avoidance... what a glorious fight it was. I had to literally tank Drek and his puppies to death with consecrate. When i saw his hp bar go from 100% to zero % my eyes lit up and I "/cheered" irl. That was the greatest moment of wow and of AV for me and i must say, I loved it.

Probably my favorite moment in my WoW career to date was when I was levelling my very first character, a human Warrior. I was about level 40, and there was this pretty awesome sword that came from a quest to kill Amnennar the Coldbringer:
Vanquisher's Sword.
So, me being a roleplaying geek (this was way early on, on Kirin Tor), I got some of my RP buddies together and we decide to make a grand old time of it, heading down into Razorfen Downs.
One of the buddies I happen to bring is a Priest. Problem: He's also level 28. At the time, RFD was something like a late-30s/early-40s instance. We're plodding along and doing just fine, though. I'd picked up some plate gear, and another friend had taught me how to tank (I'd been the group's awesome tank for awhile), so we're trucking through.
Until we get to the spire.
If you've never run RFD (and I hadn't), let me tell you about this spire. It goes around and around, up to the top where Amnennar the Coldbringer is sitting and being all chill, waiting for us to go get his head or whatever (and our phat loots). However, the spiral path that winds up is just covered in undead mobs. There's also a boss along the way, an Abomination, and a rare-spawn who can sometimes show up (a Quillboar, I think?), and was up this run.
This all would've been fine and dandy, and we would have been okay, but ... the level 28 priest? From earlier? His aggro radius was kind of huge, right? And he was hugging the wall of the spire, right?
Think about it for a second...
...yep. Giant, GIANT wall of undead just starts surging down the spiral towards us. We're talking a huge wave, pretty much every mob on there that wasn't the boss, just making a beeline towards our posse. You can imagine how that went.
After I stopped laughing (about a half hour later), we did manage to finish -- after having the priest stay VERY FAR AWAY from the edge. :D
