My favorite moment of playing WoW was back a few years ago, before The Burning Crusade was released. I used to be a big explorer and, as a Night Elf druid, the "dancing troll village" between Moonglade and Darkshore always taunted me. I tried for hours to climb the mountains in Darkshore to get in. I reached the final peak, but it was simply too tall, too far to reach. With great shame, I surrendered.
A few weeks later, the urge to try again struck me. This time, I attempted to climb the mountains in Moonglade. After some clever wall-climbing, which has since been removed :(, and a couple lucky jumps, I finally made it!
Dancing with those silly trolls made it all worthwhile. To be able to accomplish something that some said was impossible, something that had been in the back of my mind since my first journey to Moonglade at level 10, it meant more to me than any epic loot ever will.

For me, there is absolutely no contest when it comes to my favorite WoW memory. I lost a friend in a car accident in May of last year, and I can still remember our last SFK run. I was boosting his twink rogue because he thought he had a chance to pick up
Shadowfang
.
Well guess what happened. Arugal himself dropped it.
I never got to see his rogue get twinked out. I'm sure there's WoW in Heaven, or it wouldn't be Heaven. He's probably up there annoying the newbs in WSG right now...

Best memory i have of WoW was the day i met my best ingame bud. His name was darkwynd. It was my first char i remember playing, so im just trying to level up jewelcrafting. I was mining and making stuff when a hunter ran by me. I said hey do you want some free jewelcrafting gear? Hes like sure, but he told me i should sell it for gold since it was my first char. I said i dun care, getting gold is meh lol. Now im level 70 and he moved his main char over to the server im on, and we raid together now.

My favorite moment, must have been when i first started playing and everything was new. I was doing my first instance, which was Ragefire cavern. I thought it was a really cool place and working in a group of other players made playing the game more fun. We were all new and we wiped in there a few times, (yes i know wipes in ragefire), but i found that it was a more defining moment for me then getting my epics or killing a raid boss.
