My most memorable moment has to be defeating Nefarian, the true Lord of the Blackrock. After having to let him escape so often while being distracted by Dal'Rend or the crazed Vaelastrasz it was very satisfying to finally get revenge for all the things he did.
I really liked the design of bwl and the story arc concerning the blackrock. I solved every quest, slowly uncovering the black dragonflight's wicked scheme, which I was eager to upset. When I was then finally able to step onto his terrace and saw him sitting there on his throne amidst the rubbel and in front of the fiery sky it was a definite goosebumps-moment and when he actually joined the fight in his dragonform it got only better.
We've cleared nearly every instance (all save Naxxramas and Sunwell), but our first Nefarian kill is still the one I remember best.
Let the games begin indeed.

Nothing sappy or anything from me, but I was just helping a guildie in Redridge kill the gnolls and the orcs (i have no idea how many times i've helped people with this) and as I was plowing through all the mobs in 1-3 hits, it made me think "Wow, back when I leveled here alot of the mobs were elite and you couldn't solo this on your own even if you're a couple levels higher."
Long story short, lots of stuff got nerfed, people have less work to do now.
I still remember trying to get a good enough group to pass the bridge that leads to Stonewatch.
Good times. Goooood times.
Close seconds would be joining my first raid - AQ20, seeing all the huge monsters and the disgusting bug boss, or getting my epic land mount today after months of saving up. :)

Yes its a second post, but it's for the second day.
Another of great moments for wow for me, was 3 years back again: I just finished lvling my first char to 20 and i was happy as hell to finally get my cat form. I just dinged when a friend called. He asked me if i wanted to come to his place to play some games with a few others, i was actually trying to decide if i was going to my friends' or keep playing WoW. I decided i'd play for 30 more minutes and then go to my friends'. After 2 hours my friend called "Where the hell are you, you're supposed to be here 90 minutes ago!". I totally forgot about the time. I felt pretty emberassed even though he was my best friend. "Kinda addicted already" I thought. I decided i'd bring the box of WoW with me to my friends' and install it there. I did that and now, 3 years later, all of the people who were there that day, have played WoW. Including that guy from the above story with his contests ;) So i guess its kinda my fault if their lives suck :P

I would guess that my most memorable moment in World of Warcraft was the time me and my guild killed Ragnaros, down in Molten Core. We were one of the few raiding guilds at the time on the server and to accomplish this feat was an inspiring testament to me, my fellow guildmates and all my friends.
After months of farming the instance for the gear to even attempt it, everyone was on edge, even at each other's throats at some point. But after we killed him, its was like everyone bit of negativity in the guil disappeared. We litterally had a guild "renewal" at that very point. You could feel the smiles on everyone's face, even if they were across the world.

My favorite moment in WoW would undoubtedly be the first faction leader kill in which I participated.
Granted, I didn't start playing WoW until after Burning Crusade came out, so I wasn't around when that sort of raid was the norm, but there was definitely something epic about it.
Spamming chain heal, keeping the entire raid topped off, all while watching us take out the leaders of Stormwind all while keeping the Alliance at bay was unforgettable.

My favorite moment in my World of Warcraft career would have to have been whenever I first dinged 58 and died four times trying to get to the Dark Portal to get to Hellfire Peninsula because I took a wrong turn and ended up in the place in the Blasted Lands with all the lvl 61 elites. Gawd that sucked, 15g repair bill...I wish my bill was that low still. lol

For me, I think my favorite moment would have to have been when I was fishing behind the Northshire Abbey with my brother.
We had just started playing World of Warcraft, and we had been up all night playing. After learning the fishing skill, we hearthed to Northshire and fished together for a while. We talked about how anti-World of Warcraft we were before we actually tried the game, and how much fun it was. We regretted we hadn't tried WoW sooner; it was a huge upgrade from RuneScape. >.>
I can easily visualize it; us, sitting next to the slow-running creek with the sun beginning to come up and that peaceful Northshire music just playing away. If only every moment in World of Warcraft was like this.
However, some of my other favorite moments included me getting my epic mount, getting my Elekk, finally having enough honor for the Grand Marshal's Longsword, hitting 375 Herbalism, and getting the Blackened Defias Armor (The chest piece) after killing what seemed like an army of VanCleef. 8D

Hello
My favourite wow moment was when I got my first mount ever - a brown elekk. people say get the grey one or get the blue one well screw them :P and while I was getting It i met someone who turned out to be my leveling buddy from 30-55 (which is my current level) they are a great and friendly player.
Thanks for reading.

hmmm.... gót 2 Great moments.
One was a run through Blackrock Depths. There is the "Ambassador Flamelash". After killing him, our Great Mage looked doen into the lava and said "That could hurt being down there" wanted to turn, somehow pressed Blink and fell down... You only heard a loud cry in TS and then he was dead.
It was just so hilarious.
The other moment was in Hillsbrad. Me being a Druid came across a Paladin same level.
We startet to fight, why I do not remember anymore. We brought each other always down quite a bit, healed ourselves and went back to hitting each other... And it happened nothing. I Regged enough mana, he the same. After around a good 15 minutes of this, we were just too tired it seemed. He turned, I turned and we left it.
It was great fun, but hopefully never again. ( This was now a good 3 Years ago. Maybe 3 months after release )
