My favorite moment:
Let me set the stage here. I am in a casual raiding guild just starting to scatch the surface of BT. We are all friends, and joke around alot. One particular member causes more trouble than most. Lets just call him, well. . . Leeroy, sounds appropriate. Anyways we were all getting buffs and getting ready for our very first attempt at Archimonde. You know, jumping off the cliff to make sure everyone can activate the slowfall item. It was at this time I heard a stream of expletives coming from the main tank over vent. Followed by "Who Pulled!" Needless to say it was also the very first time that any of us had been hit for 99,999 damage. We all gave Leeroy a hard time for that, but in the end I think we could admit that is was hilarious. I personally laughed so hard that I broke my mic.

My best WoW moment is when me and my boyfriend finally got our games in the mail from an US friend that we made in another game cause we live in the UK, who so kindly mailed them to us so when the whole guild from Matrix Online moved we could play with them aswell. Logging in and killing, questing together again was great i remember the first instance we went into was Deadmine's we had never experienced anything like it and we died many time's but it was all good fun and to this day we are all still playing .. maybe in different guilds now but still on the same server and we still hook up for some instances now and then!

My favorite wow moment was back in the good old days of mc.
Everything is on farm except for rag and we are just going through the bosses. We come to baron gheddon and one of the guys goes if im the bomb im runing to the tank. About 5 other people say the same thing so we start and hes the first bomb so he blows up the tank and we get a b res on him and keep tanking him then another guy becomes the bomb and blows him up again. another b res(ok now we have no more b res'). Then ANOTHER person blows him up and we get a OOC pally to res him(hes got a 2 min res timer). some how we survive till hes up and then someone else blows him up.
He ended up with a 10 min res time and we kill gheddon ... dont remember how just remember he had a 10 min res timer

Tockley
Can't say I've had a ton of memorabe moments, but some of my fondest memories of WoW were back when I first started playing, I rolled a gnome mage named Tockley on Dunemaul realm. This was back when you had to spec arcane for improved arcane explosion, and I never will forget going on Vent with my brother on his priest and AOE grinding for the fun of it and trying to see how large of pulls we could come away with. Since then I've switched to horde, my brother's moved out and stopped playing, and truth be told I really do miss the team ;/

My all-time favorite moment in WoW.. hmm..
There's so many, it's just hard to decide, but I've got one.
It HAD to be the time I first got my flight form on my Druid at level 68.
I swear, I spent hours flying around Hellfire Peninsula squealing and giggling like a schoolgirl because I was so excited to finally be flying. Up until, of course, the moment that many ballsy Druids experience..
I clicked off flight form.. plummeting to the ground and expecting to jump back into flight form before I hit the ground, yet to no avail..
I hit a lag spike JUST before I hit the ground, so my flight form didn't register and my poor Druid splattered on the road just outside of Honor Hold.
Sad, sad times. Hilarious, though! Boy, did I learn my lesson.

Another good time I had in WoW was when I found out the existance of an (easily obtainable) legendary staff from pre-BC, known as Atiesh.
Of course, some of you have heard of it and probably know where this is going, but the story is..
I got soooo excited thinking I'd actually be able to get my hands on this staff! I was 70, of course, but I still wanted the bragging rights to say I had a legendary weapon. That, and I could port to Karazhan! How awesome would that be?
Well, I start looking up the staff on good ol' Wowhead here and sadly realize that the quest chain drags you through a bunch of the pre-BC raids, which don't happen to often on my home server.
Distraught and upset, I realized I wasn't going to get that staff even if I tried.
It would take months to arrange enough raids for me to pick up all the splintered pieces of the staff and by then WotLK will have released and pre-BC Naxx will be no more, making the staff pretty much unobtainable, as far as I know.
Who knows, perhaps they may switch it up so players can still grab this staff with a little persistence, but I think Blizzard is more concerned with WotLK's artifacts/heirloom and epic items than some silly old pre-BC legendary..
..How sad.
Just goes to show how much emotions do tie into WoW, eh? Haha. Excitement, disappointment, happiness, anger (when somebody ninja loots or you lose a roll on something you've been needing for months), and even love.. like the first time you see Stitches in Duskwood.. aah.. love at first sight.
Wait, what am I saying?

My favorite Moment in WoW were the Battles between Horde and Alliance in TarrenĀ“s Mill/Southshore.
That was really amazing. 40 or more people on both sides fighting each other.
I miss open Pvp with this dimension.

The greatest moment in my World of Warcraft career was, of course, when I met my buddy Shundry. Thanks to him, I am now level 70 and know a lot about World of Warcraft history, and with this guy, I have had a lot of good moments around the WoW universe.

My favorite moment(s) in WoW were when I was doing the AQ quest line. Starting off when you meet with Dr. Weavil, I do love Blizzard's allusions to things in culture, all the way to the epic battle that ensued in Silithus. Just being there with the whole server at 5 a.m., on Father's day, (Yeah my guild was kind of hated so we did it at a less than optimal time) and fighting the giants bugs that would launch you 500 feet to your death was the definition of epic.

17 June 08 it was my partners birthday and he had been wanting this for ages as he ONLY wanted TBC as his present. All he could think of was getting the discs and logging on to a whole new world. He had been waiting for this moment since we first hit 60 round about Christmas 07 and now by June 08 he had 3 level 60 characters.
We were in a very nice and friendly guild so I decided to play a surprise birthday party on WOW. The Guild master created a guild meeting on Sunday 15th June at 6pm server time. This was a time which we knew many guild members would be online and able to attend the meeting. Everyone in the guild knew it was Piedrid's Birthday and that we would be getting TBC. Well the meeting was not just any old meeting...... It was to escort him through the Dark Portal!
But. I had the problem of getting him off the pc and out of the house so as I could install TBC on the pc without him knowing. I wanted him to log on and just see it installed! DAMN he wouldnt go out hahah.... typical..... so I ended up telling him sunday morning that I had got TBC and needed to install it right now! Damn if that wasn't straight forward. It took us from 9am till 4pm to install the whole thing. Some glitch with the installation and he had to re install the whole WOW from scratch :-( By then I thought this was not the nice surprise I was wanting.
Finally we got on and he couldnt wait to go through the portal. A very good friend we met in game (lylesberg) had suggested to us that the only way to do this right was to not just teleport to Shatt City but to actually go through the portal so as to get the whole full experience. After all we were on a pvp/pve/Roll play server.
I was just as excited as him .... in fact I think I was more excited, seeing as I couldnt wait for his reaction when the guild turned up to take him through. As organised, people started turning up one by one and asking where the meeting was. Blasted lands was the meeting place! Some lower levels couldnt get there so we arranged to meet them over on the other side later.
Once we were all at the meeting point the guild master then said that we were here to escort Piedrid over to TBC and through the portal. We all started walking, slowly and meanigfull to the portal. I started running and was told off.... so there we were marching slowly towards our destiny. This was finally going to happen. I cant explain how I felt exactly but thinking of it now I have goose bumps on my arms. It was a true meaningful moment in both mine and Piedrids WOW life. And the pleasure in Pie's face was a picture. (wish I had taken some screen shots). Once through the other side I saw everyone in the guilds expression (in typing) . I wondered why no one in the guild had done it this way and they just put in the discs and teleported to shatt.
I think WOW should make it compulsary to go through the portal .... .....It truely was a wow life altering experience. I wonder ............how will they introduce the new WotLK? ........Insert disc and proceed .........................................OR...........
will they make it an experience never to be forgotton?
