Hmm, for me, my best and most fulfilling moment was on my first toon, a human paladin. I had spent weeks getting the prereq quests done and gathering the mats/gold together for my epic mount. When the group and I finished fighting in Scholo and i completed the quest, that moment when I finally earned the charger, it was my first epic accomplishment and I was so happy to have completed it. Of course I hearthed out and immediately summoned my charger and rode all over the place.

My favorite memory was when i finally flew into shat on my drake for the first time. After a week grinding rep i really felt like i finished something that alot dont bother to do. I still dont see alot of drakes and ride mine and still feel good.

Well my favorite moment, and certainly most epic moment in my time playing wow has to be the first time encountering Ragnaros. Just see him emerge and make short work of Majordomo after his failure made my heartbeat flippin'. And when finally downing him almost gave me permanent tinnitus. (because of the cheerings on the ventserver)
God I miss 40 man raids.

My favorite moment during my time playing WoW so far was when I got the chance to tank when doing BM. I think I did well, but the support I got from my guild when doing it was moving.

For a while before Burning Crusade came out, I was obsessed with getting small pets. Checking the neutral AH in Gadgetzan every couple of hours for cats and farming oozes in Felwood for scum covered bags endlessly. Someone told me about the Alliance-only chicken (I was an orc) and how there was a special quest to obtain it where you had to /chicken a chicken until it laid an egg for you. After trying in vain on my own to obtain it, I came up with a plan. I did '/who durotar 1' and asked every new character if they were their only character on the server. After I found one who said yes, I made a proposition. If they logged out, deleted their character, made a human, ran from Northshire to Westfall, did the Cluck! quest and let me loot the egg at the very last second, then deleted that character, remade their Horde guy and logged back into Durotar, I'd give them 30g. He laughed in my face and put me on /ignore. After a few more tries, finally a generous soul agreed and helped me out. I think he was new to the game and we forgot to exchange IM information making it almost impossible to explain to him what to do with 'Jagno makes some strange gestures at you' but in the end it worked. I still have my Chicken Egg, the only Horde I know with one.
Oh and walking through the Dark Portal on Burning Crusade launch day and having the Hellfire Peninsula music send shivers up and down my spine. Still happens every time an alt gets to 58.
