The best moment I ever had is one that caused me to laugh until my sides hurt.
One day I took a couple of lower levels into Gnomer with my level 70 human mage. I entered thru the back door and made it to the long hallway before Thermaplugg. While I was waiting for one of the other members to get back from being AFK, I cast Flamestrike across the channel at a couple of Dark Dwarves. Unfortunately, they didn't die from the casting, but I didn't really notice. About a minute later, I had every elite mob in that hallway running at me and the other party members.
Needless to say, we all died, but it was so unexpected that I just couldn't stop laughing.

One of my many favorite memories has to be when I got my mount on my first character.
My first "real" character, which I played to over level 30, was a Night Elf Hunter (<3).
I still remember the day where I was planning to hit 40, but I still missed some of the gold needed for the mount.
I went out of Booty Bay and started to farm the Mistvale Gorillas, for the grey loot, which sold for 67s (or something like that) for one stack of 10. That was a lot of money back then :)
I was still level 39 while farming those. I sat in my room playing for hours to farm the money. The TV was on in the other room playing the songs that were popular at that time. Ah, the memories from that "first time".
Also doing Molten Core and Blackwing Lair for the first time was really good feeling. When my whole guild cried on TS when we downed Nefarian :)

My favorite times in general are swimming around the continents, I once got so far up on the epl coast (before sunwell) that I didn't want to swim all the way back so I swam out, fatigued myself to death and appeared at the WestFall graveyard.

I'd have to say one of my best moments in WoW was when our guild (Imperial Order at the time) decided to play a prank on Detheroc server. Below is the original post by Cession who later became an employee of Blizzard. =D In less than 12hrs there was over 40 pages of responces containing anything between calling us the biggest d-bags ever and blizz should ban us to cheering us on! Ahh the good ole days of WoW!
"It's obvious that the responsibility of opening these gates lies soley on us, Imperial Order. We are not ignorant to the notion that without our champion Nimic ringing the gong, it would take a lot longer than anyone had intended for the gate to open.
How much longer remains to be seen, maybe as long as TKT or Phoenix grind carapaces? I don't know their plans, so it may be even longer than that.
So why not now? This is a common and valid question. The gates CAN be opened now, but we're not going to.
Why not? The most natural and unhelpful answer is that we choose not to. It won't happen today, it won't happen tomorrow, after maitenence, and it probably won't happen the day after that.
So when? We can't answer that, for the answer lies within all of you. We do want to see this new content, but we also have many other plans in mind. Like any guild, we like being notorious, remembered.
No one remembers the fair and quietly intelligent people they meet in their daily lives, but everyone remembers those who ruin their day.
We have plenty of time to conquer this new content, but for now we see endless novelty in holding it hostage. And this is what we will continue to do: Hold it hostage.
So now the gates truly lie in your hands. In order to open the gate, we are demanding 5,000 gold. Please send it to Aqransom, one of our banks, and we will tally up the money. Once we gain this money we will open the gates.
If you are horde, use the neutral bank to transfer your money. We don't want to have to pay the bank cut.
We would apologize for this great injustice on the server, but I personally feel it would fall on deaf ears.
So get farming. The next step in this new content is purely up to you. "
If I had a 2nd best moment, it would be when during an Azurgoes fight between alliance and horde. The horde guild TKT was fighting Azurgoes and we decided to have some fun. Well our guild leader Rice (also our MT) decided to taunt Azurgoes and jump off the cliff. When Azurgoes followed him just over the edge he summoned everyone in the area too him. The 10 of us there and the entire TKT raid fell to their doom. Wipe of horde raid - 100% success.

I remember dinging my priest to 70. But it wasnt the most great experience.
But i remember gearing and farming money to buy enchants for my gear and so i did farm and go to every instance i could.
And finally when i got into guild which was starting raiding Karazhan.. I had to gear some more so i used almost all my money to buy leg and head enchants. Also i used all my arena points for better off-hand so i managed to get 300+ healing in couple hours. The raid was on next day.
About hour or two i went to grocery store and bought loads of stuff to eat as it was my first raid i wanted everything to be perfect.
Then when we finally entered to the Karazhan with the guild and killed Curator and it dropped my first epic item.. I dont remember if i laughed like a maniac or what but i was excited when the rolls started.
Well luckily i won the rolls and got my first epic shoulders.
So i guess the best moment was getting epic shoulders on the first raid :)
