My favorite was the first time encountering Vaelatraz and than a month later killing him.
It was so funny to see an entire raid wiped in 12 seconds, but also the guild mustering together and stepping up to finally kill the boss after a month of wiping over and over to finally kill him 13 seconds after the buff disappeared.
The fight itself was just so perfect, but to also have a guild of players that persevered against what seemed like a brick wall at the time to kill him and eventually Nefarian himself.

I remember stepping into Blackwing Lair, or Bugwing Lag as it used to be called back then, and enjoying some of the new content with guildies and of course the framelag in the suppression room... really good memories.

My favorite moment was my first Kara full clear. It was with a group of nine real life friends and it was my first raid dungeon full clear. I was so pumped when we downed Prince on our first time and I got my first really decent epic on my warlock, Ruby Drape of the Mysticant...still using it today!

My favorite moment in WoW Was when my and my friends server went down and we had nothing to do. So we did the only thing we could think of and that was to make two trolls and run to Ironforge naked. Along the way (us never playing horde before and not knowing which way to go because we were still pretty new to the game) we ran into a level 60 orc and had to ask for directions in the Sephulcer and he led us in the right direction. We made it all the way to the Deep Run tram and got killed by the rat killer guy and respawnef in Elwnn Forest then traveled to Northshire Abbey. When we got to Northshire all of the humans were looking at us like "WTF" and proceeded to try and kill us and they could not because we had reached level 3 just by discovering new areas. That would have to have been my greatest WoW moment.

This ones easy, my brother and I were wandering around looking for some low level allies to fight (we were only lvl 19 or something lol), when we ran across a massive tree warder. It was the biggest thing we'd seen. I cried "no!" but he ran right into that thing and started chopping away. We took it down down, after nearly dying. We were laughing our butts off and took a screen shot of us waving in front of the downed warder. I had that as my desktop image for months!

I'm going to step out of the norm and admit that my favorite moment in WoW was on my current server; Sisters of Elune.
For those who don't know, and I assume there are a good hand-full, Sisters of Elune is a Roleplay server. My favorite moment has to be the first legitimate RP encounter I had in my RP 'career'. Thatamos, my main and most love character, was only just starting his training as a Blood Knight when he encountered a tanned short-haired and ruffled elf woman. She was odd to watch as she took small steps towards him with her nose leading the way, but as she started to sniff his skin, he knew she was no ordinary elf. From there, he couldn't help but laugh gently to himself as the girl leaned up on her toes to sniff his neck and cheeks, much like that of a curious kitten.
From there a huge friendship formed and a partnership among warriors formed. Thatamos has grown into something more complex and fun... which was only
slightly
influenced by WoWHead helping me with quests and items.. ^.^;
