If by mistake you picked dps gear, and it's been longer than 2 hours, can you ask a GM to switch to healing gear?

I'm sure they can but why would it take you more than 2 hours to realize you've bought the wrong item?

I bought the T9 shoulders, then I realized that I could've bought the other shoulders that are way better. But then I had already enchanted them. So I couldn't sell them back.
I made a ticket and waited... and waited... I waited for over three days. And they say that three days is the maximum time for item exchange. So I abandoned my ticket and now I use the shoulders anyway.
But as other said, make a ticket and hope for the best.

I'm going to have to get really lucky I guess because I've had this gear for over a month.
I've already put my ticket in and waited about a 1/2 a day so far.

How could you have 'mistakenly' purchased DPS gear and not noticed it for over a month?

Aye, I did that on my hunter, before the buy back option was added in, bought the spell power cloak instead of the attack power(no huntard jokes, I had just gotten out of a pug 25 from hell, and it was 4am lol). Opened a ticket, let them know what happened, had the right cloak waiting the next time I logged in.
