Guardian Druids are pretty good.
All you do is run through the dungeon while spamming Swipe and Thrash.

I enjoy using Bear druid. You have two very spammable AOE attacks (both 360), you also obviously have great survivability (frenzy regen is great for soloing old stuff.) and to top it off, you have stealth to skip stuff that is worthless to you.

There are a lot of little things that go into deciding. Just to comment on why I don´t like some of the things mentioned.
Shockwave - frontal attack with a cd
Balance druid (hurricane) - Requires you to stop, click a spot to traget the spell, then channel the spell
Cat druid (swipe) - has energy requirement, not really spammable.
Generally if you have to stop moving, have to target mobs, or have a positional requirement, or have to wait for a cd, you are slowing yourself down. Bears just run through the mobs spamming swipe and thrash. no targeting, no cds, no resource management, 360 degree attacks.

Death Knights are good too. Just aggro the whole instance, drop a death and decay and spam blood boil and everything will die. For an added bonus you can also use unholy presence to run through everything quicker.
Beat me to it.
DKs are godly at AoE farming. Perpetual self heal, Blood Boil hits like a truck, Army, Ghoul, DnD. Game over man, Game over!
Plus you start off at 55 in decent gear and with xp boosted you'll level in no time.
Even in greens a 90 DK can easily solo most older content where mechanics allow.

I'm biased, but prot warrior is the bomb dot com. Thunderclap, Cleave, Revenge, Dragon Roar/Shockwave, loot, repeat.

Pretty much it's a matter of try and see which you prefer.
I find Paladins boring.
Warriors feel sluggish to me, especially Tauren.
Never really tried Monk
I love Guardian but my preference is Death Knight, I suppose because they were the first class I tanked on and endured so much venom from idiots purely because I was a DK, so I have a fierce loyalty to them.

I want a class that will farm low level (tbc-wotlk-cata) 5 mans fast and proper.
A lvl 90 mage is perfect for this.
