Dont forget to factor in movement, during movement heavy fights where you wont be 10 yards close to the target at all times, the value of Glyph of UB diminishes.

Aleanos that could be played either way.
With heavy movement fights it's harder to create runic power due to the lack of melee combat range for rune usage. So the ability to have UB last longer without requiring refresh allows UB uptime to be far better on certain fights :)
Hmm, true. But for those situations (let's say Heigan) then odds are the target wont be anywhere near you during the extra 10seconds of UB. Same goes for Gothik (phase 2), you'll only have a small time beating on him, oftenly preventing UB from having it's full duration, making it better to dump through DC instead.
Overall, if your time to generate RP is diminished due to lack of being close to the target at all times, then undless your 30second UB has at least ~15-20 seconds connection time, it's better to just DC.
My examples are most likely poor ones and due to lack of imagination (and personal experience), which fights were you thinking about specifically where my argument would work both ways?
